It is very weird that this news not reported by any mainstream media, don’t thk it’s confirm news yet. And no explanation on the reason for termination for setting Sg out. No news declare by Sg also.

No news being released regarding to HSR yet. For my opinion, if don't involve Sg in, this project is not worth at all. Govt should think carefully.
I just hope I can travel to Sg within 2 hours in the future.

Many ppl from Msia working in Singapore. This project suppose to allow you basically work in Singapore but stay in KL or any station along the way.

Agree....Malaysian will still prefer drive to HSR.
HSR is convenient for Singaporean come KL/Malaysian to SG spending during weekend.

HSR stop in JB is beneficial to JB and indirectly beneficial to Botak group of companies. A stop over for Singaporean at JB by SMRT at checkpoint will make a big difference to JB city. As what I know JB is a heavenly shopping and eating centre for Singaporeans. Without Singaporeans JB is a death city.
You can notice how the medium-sized to small scale businesses were hard hit by closing down of the borders. Every business is down..down . Even the Pasar malam !

Today， old horse came out and said he going to be the next PM , so all market down . A dying person still very thirst for power and wealth. He always think he is a superhero . If he is in, HSR and BM will again canceled or changed and a crooked bridge will built at the causeway and SMRT project will face problem. So, everybody curse him now... may be tomorrow he is gone case ....lol.
Aiaili if tomorrow budget passed HSR will stop at Botak's bangalow backyard and a station will built at Botak Musang-king plantation.....lol.

Media melaporkan kerajaan telah membuat keputusan untuk tidak teruskan dengan perjanjian dengan Singapura yang dibuat kerajaan BN dahulu untuk projek HSR Kuala Lumpur ke Singapura.

Sebaliknya, projek akan ditukar dengan HSR Kuala Lumpur ke Johor Bharu dengan menggunakan teknologi tren yang lebih perlahan dan kerajaan akan membayar pampasan sekurang-kurangnya RM300 juta kepada negara Singapura.

Kos HSR-JB juga dilaporkan antara RM63 bilion hingga RM65 bilion - iaitu tak jauh berbeza berbanding kos asal sebanyak RM60 bilion hingga RM68 billion untuk projek asal HSR KL ke Singapura.

Akibat penukaran ini, jumlah penumpang setahun dijangka turun dari 8.4 juta setahun ke 4.2 juta menjelang tahun 2031.

Ini akan memberi impak yang amat besar dari segi harga tiket (pengguna dari Singapura mampu membayar tambang lebih mahal) dan jumlah penumpang sehingga projek ini mengalami kerugian besar setiap tahun - bermakna kerajaan mungkin akan perlu membayar gantirugi atau bail-out operator HSR pada masa depan.

Jika ditukar ke JB sahaja dan menjadi lebih perlahan berbanding kelajuan asal sebanyak 350 km/sejam, projek ini tidak boleh bersaing lagi dengan sektor penerbangan KL ke Singapura.

Sektor penerbangan ini adalah paling sibuk dalam dunia dan HSR dijangka boleh menurunkan kos tiket, jumlah tempoh perjalanan dan juga pencemaran udara sebab tren elektrik adalah lebih efficient dan kurang mencemar.

Impian pergabungan antara dua ekonomi terbesar dan dua ibukota negara ASEAN juga tidak akan tercapai.

Akibatnya, manfaat ekonomi bagi Malaysia dari projek ini akan berkurang beberapa trillion Ringgit menjelang tahun 2050.

Tapi satu manfaat bagi kerajaan Malaysia ialah kerajaan boleh membuat segala keputusan perolehan untuk memberi kontrak kepada mana-mana pihak dengan sendirinya berbanding model JV dahulu di mana segala proses perolehan dan pemilihan vendor perlu ditimbang, dilaksanakan dan dipantau secara bersama oleh kedua-dua negara.

Saya harap laporan berita ini yang semakin rancak tanpa sebarang penafian dari kerajaan adalah tidak benar dan cuma spekulasi.

Jika benar, keputusan kerajaan ini akan banyak merugikan negara sebab walaupun kos projek agak sama tetapi jumlah pendapatan HSR serta manfaat ekonomi bagi Malaysia adalah jauh lebih rendah.

What the old horse want is to develop Kedah and Langkawi , he is very clear that HSR will bring a lot ot of good economical impact for Johore state. He propose a crooked bridge so that Johor state can ended up crooked. (fongsui said that) . A very bad hearted old man. I don know why so many Chinese support him (including KH-1234) ? He is a racist and 100 time worst than my idol Bossku ! At least Bossku has a very close buddy is a Chinese guy : the fatty Low....lol
