KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 4): Ekovest Bhd and Iskandar Waterfront City Bhd (IWCity), two companies linked to tycoon Tan Sri Lim Kang Hoo, were among Bursa Malaysia’s most actively traded counters on Thursday.

Ekovest saw 153.57 million shares traded, five times its three-month average volume of 29.32 million shares. The counter opened up three sen, or 5.55%, at 54 sen before climbing to 57 sen — its highest since Sept 26, 2023, before paring gains to close at 55 sen.

Meanwhile, 90.94 million IWCity shares changed hands, almost six times its three-month average volume of 16.19 million shares. The stock rose to an intra-day high of 93 sen, its highest since 95.5 sen on Aug 2, 2019, before settling at 86.5 sen, up 3.5 sen or 4.22% from its last close.

1.The efficient market hypothesis states that share price reflects all information of the company. Therefore price will remains at rest unless acted upon by new information.

2.Hence, recycling old news has significantly no value and misleading to investors.

Be careful of her shouting kungfu. Her kungfu is very geng chow and her partner loves it so much (every day & night). Check out all her posts by clicking in her nick name and trace what she posted in the past few months in 1651 thread. Huh, that kungfu was super duper GENG CHOW.

Beware, this fellow is a Call Warrant (CW) speculator. If anyone is unfamiliar with CW, please don't follow nor influence by her shouting kungfu, by chance, if happen, she may unload all her stuff to you while she keep shouting she will Q at very high price to sell her CW and at the same time she will shout out loud that that Mother share price will be "at super high TP", if ...this and that, nah just like her last post "$0.70" for 8877.

Oh. Don't forget the "program selling" might kill traders (and investors too, get caught at high price as it might suddenly turn downward and go lower esply CW, beware). They have automation system which will auto Q bid and offer prices for all the shares listed on the board including CW (it is tricky and it might kill investors anytime). IMHO. Sharing. 2c. And, to all fellow dear investors, be aware that please do not influence by anyone in anywhere, if one is influenced by some people and esply they are unfamiliar with a counter, please bear in mind that, they could be trapped and incur heavy losses (after winning 100 times, but couldn't tahan just one time kena trapped, IMHO.)
