Theoretically since there's no cost involved for warrent, there's no price adjustment. However, in real life situation, there's always adjustment. To know for sure, look at the reference price of mother on the ex-date. If same as before ex date, then no adjustment. Don't be too concerned with the adjustment If you are in for the long haul which will give you the highest return. Depending on the premium of warrent when it gets listed. If premium is below 20%, you may considersell mother and buy warrent
I started investing in shares in 1987 and witnessed the asian financial crises, the recession, the sub-prime crisis and the recent pandemic. I lost maximum of 250k in one Trade and also earned 670k in another Trade. I can well be your grand father in terms of experience and age. Please have respect for others's view. The reason I said sell mother and buy warrent is for maximising your return as the warrent price is always cheaper giving you the leverage to earn more % return.
Its ok , we celebrate all the opinions which can improve us better.
Different trader, different experience, different point of view, we blend all together and put in our trading plan to maximize the profit and minimized the loss.
as long as we respect our trading plan, we respect others trading plan too. Sharing knowledge . Built up good shareholder team.
Most important , lets profit together .

kfliau, I respect your experience. I also know how warrants work and I’m very sure about what I had posted before (ie mother share, warrants being exercised)
Anthonytkh Correct. This forum should be a platform to share information and experience and views for the benefit of all. Our purpose is to huat altogether
Btw check out the newly listed IPO today with the highest volume today (by a big distance). No counter name mentioned coz I don’t want to side track too much. I’m making a huge paper profit on that
In case you see an opportunity to make money. Fyi. And apologies :)
What happens between now and 3/2 is anyone’s guess
I prefer 2-3% climb everyday until ex date. There will likely be a buying frenzy the day before that tho as investors/traders adjust their portfolio. Just keep watching, be strong and, if you are ok, add a bit more
