private placement is good, as long as it is use for new project that can generate more revenue/profit.

Think about it this way, if you need to develop a new project... u need money, as individual u can only borrow from bank, which need to pay back together with interest.

But for a public listing company, it can also do a private placement to raise the money. In this case the money flow into the company, but no need to pay back and no interest incurred. Of cuz u have new shareholder.

this can be explain why Tan Sri Kok Onn or Gadang didn't bonus issue

Their eye sight absolutely far far than other company management

private placement have no effect on the share price. But it will dilute the EPS, which in turn will lead to the decline of share price in the near term.

Is it possible that the price has been intentionally suppressed for the purpose of the private placement, so that it is a win-win situation for the new shareholder and gadang. After the deal is done, the price should ejaculate so that all of us will be happy. A win-win-win for all. Buy!

share price wiil have no adjustment?
isn't there is an increase in total number of shares and those new shares are normally priced at a discounted rate, thus technically diluting the value of each share u owe? But i heard normally the dilution is minimal or negligible.

Conspiracy theory: Push down the price to get cheaper private placement for buyer.

Positive thought: Since Gadang dare to issue 10% private placement for fund raising means the company is confident. Something good is coming up.

Fundamentalist: Fundamental still good. QR coming soon. Just buy if fall below entry price.

KLCI is a herding market with participant that do not have sound fundamental knowledge. They will sell when hit cut loss point. So Buy.
