Nicky, It has priced in before the announcement. Don't forget the price from ~1.1 to 1.96 which has increased >90%. That's why it drops after announcement.. People are aiming to sell it the next day after announcement...

Meanwhile, can you imagine the Tan Sri Warrant % from ~11% or 12% become 0%? This may create panic selling too when public saw it...

Gadang will become one of the focus from investors/traders....

See who is the Top rank stock watch list from TheStar?
Just be patient and hold for at least another 3 months, you will see the difference.
Unless u can't tolerate the fluctuation of price due to external factors of market

Top rank? It's nominal ranking, not ordinal ranking.

Meaning it's just for the sake of giving a list, like bullets. There is no actual rank. Read the whole article and you will never see any recommendations/allusions to Gadang being the "top ranked" stock.

I'm not trying to say it's not a good buy, Gadang is actually one of my favourite stocks, just dislike misinformation

the big boss tan sri has been buying the mother shares from open mkt since early last year...at least more than 6mil share to date n interestingly not selling not even one until today.. n the rest up to yr own judgement what good for u i.e sell or buy....for me i have decided to buy n keep since last year.....I just follow the boss..n i have sold all Gdg-W recently @ave rm1.09 (bought @ ave 40 sen early 2014)

Nordimohd I did the opposite. I sold mum at 190 and bought warrants at 105

Having said so, I think both mum and son are equally good

tksw tan Sri sold warrants and bought mother shares few weeks ago because the conversion premium is high. So he has done the right thing.

But since then, warrant conversion premium has dropped to reasonable level (8% when switched). So it is ok to buy warrants now instead of mum

I'm going to enter gadang also... will buy a lot!!!! We all support this please! I have no idea why the results is so good but it just haven't shoot up.. it should at least worth more than RM2.00 easily..

Beginner1989, my 2 cent opinion gadang is having good balance bizz setting i.e construction, plantation n utility for balance future growth compared to other n for some time has been under performing stock since 2004 around 10 years and according to my simple estimation probably having potential future eps 40sen equate to rm4 @pe10... so for me being lazy past time trader anything below rm2 is good buying of course the cheaper the better.. as for me I have been buying the stock wth price range from as low as 79 sen to as high as rm1.86....

another thing we just can not time the price movement....it may not move up after this for another 10 years who knows...for me i buy some n keep some cash that the only line of defense that work for me so far
