Plus point, 27.8 of net profits bagged last year. 2nd highest than its historic records followed by an outstanding display of higher revenue. I just don't think the current valuation justifies the portfolio's growth at the moment

If you have more than 20 years experience in the market, you will know Layhong management is a lousy management. Beside the boss, I am doubt who has been making profit from Layhong in long run.

Everybody know Poultry is a cyclical business, few years good, few years bad.
But layhong, when everybody good, it will be so so only. When everybody turn not good, layhong will turn worst.

Nutriplus has a very good branding, if you pass this brand to other player to operate (i.e. QL), I think the profit can be double. or triple.

@Albukhary I cannot help but agree wholeheartedly to your statement. Though I am not a fanatic supporter of Nutriplus eggs, I am wary of its presence in the marketplace. This is why I asked why was there a rumor about QL buying LAYHONG in the first place. I guess it was unsubstantiated rumors then

Some director sold share in open market or off market to raise some money to prop up share price. Director also need to play margin to fry up the price. So to raise some money to sell some share is reasonable

it traded at RM1 around 2017-2018 with a peak annual PAT of RM20-RM30 million. in a single quarter Lay Hong surpassed its own peak annual PAT. RM1 is definitely achievable
