Wow... Good thing coming soon.
The reason they propose Par Value Reduction is because they want to have private placement... up to 30%, this would emerge as the biggest shareholder in this company.

After the exercise, you will see a brand new Sycal:-
i) New substantial shareholder;
ii) Healthy Balance Sheet with Retained Profit (no more accumulated losses)
iii) Healthy Balance Sheet with additional RM30mil ++ cash
iv) Company can start pay dividend, as it has retained profit d
v) New project inject by shareholder, like what happen in KERJAYA PROSPECT (aka FUTUTEC)

IMO, they push down so many step for 1 week.. a normal healthy shares.. fluctuation should be around 10%..

Based on chart, .32 is a good support/strong based on previous support when it made 22.137% rebound then retrace to current position, just my opinion :)

If support .32 broken then the nearest support is .315, if not then it's accumulation time, let the chart convince us retailers to buy again.

Reduce par value to 25 sen to cancel the accumulated loss. In so doing, dividends can be given from future profits. Good for shareholders.

ACE credit has acquired Connect share in sept 2016 at 0.11 to 0.13 cent, its share price has gone up to 0.185 cent now (> 50% gain)after few month emerged as substantial shareholder. Would Sycal venture would be the next super star....

On Feb 10, Sycal Ventures Bhd saw 9.56 million shares, or a 2.99% stake, change hands off market for RM3.55 million. Of these, 8.15 million shares changed hands in a single direct deal at 37.5 sen, slightly above the 36 sen and 36.5 sen they fetched on the open market.

Interestingly, Ace Credit Sdn Bhd emerged as a substantial shareholder after it bought 32.31 million shares on Feb 10, giving it a 10.09% stake. Recall that earlier this year Sycal Ventures announced several corporate exercises. This included a proposed capital reduction by cancelling 75 sen of the shares’ RM1 par value. It also proposed a 30% private placement of 96.07 million shares.

@windcloud, agreed with u... not many good stock at lower price now. Sycal is one of them worth to invest at this point of time. Par value reduction is targeted to complete by early of April follow by private placement to improve cash flow. Once this exercise completed, Sycal is poised to fly high. This could be the reason why ACE credit is investing in this counter.
