中国是钢铁消费大国，多余的产量就出口。现在内需强了，出口减少，价钱上升，本地的钢铁厂就没那么压力，少了竞争所以价钱也跟着上。

新浪财经12月4日，截至记者发稿，铁矿石期货主力合约延续上涨趋势，报959元/吨，涨幅2.84%。盘中最高上攻至964.5元/吨，创2013年11月以来新高。

檢閱鋼鐵股的第3季業績，安裕資源和南達鋼鐵均按年收窄淨虧損，榮達鋼鐵轉虧為盈。而馬鋼鐵廠的淨利則按年下跌。

由于受到疫情和限行令的衝擊，大馬的建築活動放緩，承包商對鋼筋的需求因而疲弱。鋼鐵公司如今只能靠出口銷售彌補損失。

中國今年初抑制疫情之后重啟經濟，並撥出巨額的基建開支，進而提高鋼筋需求。上海交易所鋼筋價格如

今逼近每公噸4000人民幣。

中國鋼筋需求相信可持續支撐鋼鐵股的末季業績，安裕資源指出，中

國已經連續4個月（6月至9月）成為

鋼材的淨進口國。

另外，鋼鐵股在原料成本風險受控，即使鐵礦石和廢鐵價格上漲，但焦煤價格下滑，可以抵消部份衝擊。

Just realized Lsteel is in the iron ore business. Go look at iron ore prices lately...it is at a 7 years high! Coupled with the all time high steel prices...imagine the profits for coming quarter. This will be the next multi bagger stock in 2021!

From the quarterly report, iron ore (minerals division) contributed RM 960k out of the total profit of RM 2.5mil. The remainder of the balance are contributed by the steel division.
