Today QR EPS : 4.43

Using simple calculation :

8.00 + 4.43 = 12.43 / 2 quarter = 6.215 EPS per Quarter

6.215 x 4 Quarter = 24.86 (0.2486 cents)

Based on

PE 20 - RM4.972
PE 15 - RM3.729
PE 10 - RM2.486
PE 5 - RM1.243

The newly released result, Q1 2021 gives a very good indication to Q2 2021's likely performance.
"During 1Q 2021, there have been high number of Covid-19 cases which result in the continuation of movement control orders to majority of states in Malaysia. These contributed to low sugar demand from F&B outlets which resulted in low sugar offtake from Wholesale and Industrial customers."

Q2 2021 is also experiencing tighten SOP, and some loss of opportunity from Raya festive season due to covid. Very similar to Q1's situation.

I would use 4.43 EPS as the "safety" zone for FY 2021 forecast, to invest in long term. Any positive event from remaining 3 Qs of 2021, would then become the upside opportunity. Those who bought at RM1.50 or below has nothing to worry on its fundamental values.

Though i dont totally agree with the optimism that some investing groups have given to msm, but i personally think the recent QR is a very good guidance. Do spend some time reading it through, will benefit your judgement for its fundamental values. Am waiting for 2 QRs to make my decision.
