Nothing coming out of that mediation. Looks like it 's still a long way from getting a definite solution. Any compensation agreement will still have to go through cabinet. Let's just say it will depend on TDM. Like he say earlier with Lynas, the government has got to be seen to be assisting business not scaring business in investing ,Sounds like a costly blunder created by inexperience cabinet ministers & now waiting for TDM to fix it.

Better to reinstate at a lower price than to pay 750m compensation and appoint new contractor. Takes a long time to get new system going. Immigration dept needs SKIN to track illegals and terrorists. Prestaring system can start anytime.

Hopefuly Tun M will announce reinstatement of SKIN. Even at 30% less, enough to limit up. Why pay 2b for a new system and compensation of 750m when you can restart SKIN at a lower cost?

I put my trust into PRESBHD over HTPADU on SKIN capability. Look at their capital power differences... Ultimately PRESBHD has more financial viability n capacity. The verdict has come out, fault at the gov. Gov made terrible mistakes cancelling the SKIN project, with with MyKad scandal and immigration issues, it is a pressing time for the gov to save money avoiding financial slap on that litigation outcome and thus re-offer SKIN again asap.
