This is a rubbish stock that doesn't react to the catalyst, downtrend stock and heavily rely on govt ....... "The strong cash position" & majority of the profit is mainly due to disposing their assets......

They can't brush this aside. Sooner or later they will have to be liable for the compensation. It has already got the company into financial difficulties where they are required to lodge a monthly report on a regularisation plan with Bursa.

I think that's the main problem of this counter... The price react like the company is depending on the compensation to survive... But you know they're suing the GOM which may takes years to resolve... There's still a case management after 2 to 3 years into the lawsuit... Price did not react even there's good earning and huge contract.. What if they drag again??

Thanks EVO118. Of course, we can't rely on the compensation only to survive in the market. Having a huge pile in bank is not necessary the company will do well but we need more project and less expenditure to get the company keep going.

I just don't see this company doing well in term of cloud service. They had alot of engagement with Google and other yet nothing positive from their side. Let see after 1st April and looking forward to it.

The never ending saga of Awantech. How do they manage to get away doing this? Why can't they just get into it and make a decision. Are the GOM going to pay interest in compensation for the additional lost time should the court case goes against them? Surely there must be a valid case for lost opportunity cost due to actions of the GOM in consistently postponing this.

It was ONLY suppose to be a case management not a full court case. They only need a court registra ( no judge ) with both sides of the litigation to hammer it out to see if they can come to an agreement or need to settle it in court with a judge.

A case management is an alternative to getting an out of court settlement. In the event it does not happen then we will get the long process of a court hearing before a final decision as well as the amount to be determined if needed.

Seriously, i have no comment on this but there are few things can be done to hasten the process.

1. They should get the verdict first before they evaluate the cost for the compensation. It is pointless for them evaluating without having a final judgement.

2. I feel these people really dragging and aint giving shit to this company.

@software guy, i don't think it would drop below 0.50. It would touch 0.510(maybe) but i doubt it else hovering around 0.545 only.

This company balance sheet is very healthy and they could just survive with it only. Besides, they EPS back to normal and if it improves along the way, by all means those holding it would be rewarded.

Just look at this 2 figures and keep some cash for emergency fund. Don't forget aite. All the best. <3.
