No worry

Mgo is compulsory and triggered when Felda can own more than 90% of Fgv. If not it cannot go through

Last time Harrison plantation was offered a privatisation price of Rm1.30 by the Indonesian boss

One guy called Peter from USA kept buying up Harrison shares till he got more than 10% to prevent unfair MGO

So Harrison stay listed till today and price has reached Rm4.00

Now go see Top 30' holders of Fgv and you will notice Local Funds like Hong Leong in Top 30

Also world famous Vanguard Fund from USA got 2 position in Top 30

I think Fgv will remain listed and prices will go up

Haiyaaaa... it is going to be a long winded process maaa... nothing to eorry at all... Appointment of Advisor by Felda... then appointment of Independent Advisor for minority shareholders... then EGM to be convened... all is going to take times anf would normally be at least within 6 months period...

The indicative offer to take FGV private at RM1.30 per share is just a ball park figure by Felda without any sound evaluation by professional valuer and Investment Bank....

So... relax and stay cool... The valuation and offer price would eventually be substantially higher...

Felda owns 775.02 million FGV shares or about 21.24% and on completion of the proposed acquisitions, it and parties acting in concert (PAC) would own more than 50% of FGV shares.

It would then make a mandatory take-over offer for all the remaning shares.

Felda had signed a conditional agreement with KWAP to acquire a 6.10% stake or 222.48 million shares or 6.1% for cash consideration for RM289.20mil.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Till FELDA make it official offer 1.3 no one said its RM1.3 .

For now FELDA bought KWAP and UJ for 1,3 .

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If 2morow if limit up FELDA need to privitiza last share price so i bet there are fund will make this happen and hopefully people won't sell

I agree with Calvin, strategist and FGV supporters..

What I read in the news that Felda had signed offer to take FGV shares of certain stake holders (probably Government link ...my guess which I stand to be corrected) at RM1.30 a share.. Meaning when the transaction is completed, Felda will own more than 50% of FGV..

This will mean Felda will make Mandatory General Offer to others shareholder including us..

I doubt the Top 30 shareholders that mentioned by Calvin will set at RM 1.30 as they know the true value and potential of FGV given the current development of CPO

Hence, the only way I look at it is to make it attractive is for the Operator to push the share price up...

Still got choice, see Mabel comment above on Cycle and Carriage.

The team in CCB decided to remain listed even though the offer was already higher and attractive than the prevailing price.

You can read about it in the Cycle and Carriage Forum

FGV 'buying' from KWAP, Jemaah (Tabung Haji SPV) & KPF at 1.30 to become mejority shareholders (more than 50%).

Next stage Felda will offer higher price to minority shareholders in order for the MGO. Unlikely to be lower than 1.30. Those holding FGV keep your shares and you'll enjoy bumper harvest. Let Felda comes out with its offer as MSW will advise whether to accept or not on their price. There is a market price for the MGO and it will be a win-win situation for Felda and the minority shareholders. Be patience and wait. Timing is right. Congratulations to all FGV share holders!

Cheers!
