MCMC宣布将在这个月内动工建造152个通讯塔，用于提升3G以及4G的覆盖范围！

在国家光纤及连接计划（NFCP）之下，政府正在想办法让高速网络在马来西亚变得更普及化，而这个计划的下一个阶段，是在全马各地建设总计152通讯塔，提升3G与4G的覆盖率，并将在这个月动工！

根据通讯及多媒体部长哥宾星的说法指出，这152个通讯塔将建立在全国各地的93个乡镇地区上，这将会是NFCP的第一阶段计划，除此之外他们将开启NFCP的第二段计划，将涵盖500个地点、210个乡镇地区上以进一步提升3G与4G的覆盖率。

除此之外，MCMC也将于国际贸易及工业部（Ministry of International Trade and Industry,MITI）以及马来西亚投资发展局（Malaysian Investment Development Authority,MIDA）合作，在37个指定的地区推出网速达1Gbps的光纤宽频网络，总得来说马来西亚接下来的网络发展还是很值得期待的。

OCK Group Bhd is mulling a spin-off listing of its tower business (towerco) on a foreign stock exchange by mid of 2020. Singapore and Hong Kong are the preferable listing destinations for OCK’s towerco business, but he does not rule out the possibility of the UK or Thailand.

I believe it mentioned listing 2021/2022 but there should be a divestment in the Vietnam assets to facilitate growth. That should be the short term catalyst. However, that seems elusive, since that was supposed to happen end of last year. Hope that really materializes soon.

If research houses assumed no conversion of warrants, the TP is above 90 sen. I believe what RHB research is trying to say is first divestment for towerco is to sell partly to Private Equity, then, try to list it within 2 years. This exercise is critical, as the rerating of the company depends on it.

OCK is the dark horse....keep in mind that they are indeed the largest telecommunication network services provider. Compare rev and NAV with Binacom. Guess who will get the lion shares?... fiber utilization of coz opcom wilbe the clear winner, but that one in different category.
