（布城20日讯）政府将通过数字经济工作队（DETF）的国家数字网络计划（JENDELA）扩大全国的宽频服务素质。

科学、工艺及革新部及通讯及多媒体部发联合声明说，2020年尾至2022年，我国将建造更多通讯塔，现有的发射器将升级到4G，并扩大光纤固定线路的覆盖范围。


声明说，在数字网络计划下，为了让我国在过渡到5G技术时做好准备，政府将会准备基础设施，以让各阶层人民以及商家受惠。

声明指出，政府将致力于从学校开始创造新一代数字知识，为学校配备互联网接入，以实现数字学习。

“目前，共有1万零066所学校可连接互联网，而其余141所未提供服务的类别学校（无互联网连接）将在今年12月起，获得卫星通信终端（VSAT）以提供30Mbps的网速。”


声明也提到数字经济工作队是于本月1日展开第二次会议，此会议是由科学、工艺及革新部长凯利主持。
