Those other tv boxes become illegal in Malaysia. We'll be seeing a lot of those who opted those illegal tv boxes to re-subscribe Astro. Those illegal tv boxes service channels will be shut down forever after court ruling on 24 May 2021.

In a landmark decision on 24 May, the Intellectual Property High Court in Kuala Lumpur declared that the sale, offer for sale, distribution and/or supply of TV Boxes or illicit streaming devices (“ISDs”) that can provide unauthorised access to copyrighted works, constitutes copyright infringement under the Copyright Act 1987.
The action in the Intellectual Property High Court was brought by Measat Broadcast Networks Sdn. Bhd., the service provider for Astro, against a seller of ISDs preloaded with applications which act as gateways to websites or content servers streaming pirated content.

tooooo many reasons to sell espeically for EPF. u think think. Look at EPF in TNB

Thanks for the input. But Astro is not a trading stock, I believe. EPF is in for the dividends which was about 8 sen at the low end. Before this year was above10 sen. But its true, EPF could have their own reasons, however sometimes their market actions defy logic.

EPF is also selling blue chip counters like Tenaga, Maybank etc etc. Maybe like most foreign funds EPF is abandoning Malaysia and shifting its investments offshore due to no faith in Malaysian Government. Certainly EPFs heavy and relentless selling has had a huge impact on the market value of most of the large companies shares in Malaysia over the last couple of months.

for a company with yearly revenue ~4.5bil and profit ~ 350mil the stock price is really undervalued. It should be pricing at RM3. This is really a good bargain. Collect more while the sale is on. Be patient. You will be rewarded accordingly soon. I have faith on Astro. EPF now control by DUMBNO . Surely they need to take out money and pump onto some useless crony company and make the company share price increase.
