Astro penetration is almost 75% households in malaysia. And with disney+ and netflix soon to be bundled in, future still intact. Live sports and local shows still dominating in our demographic.. Add that with digitalisation of Astro, profit should be stable in foreseeable future. That said, unless Astro moving fast into on demand content and improving their interface, they could lose few more customers. Netflix interface far more appealing.

Astro has good cashflow..Back of envelop calculation show that it would not be too badly affected 33% taxes on profit above RM100 million.. The extra that need to be paid is the 9% above the old rate of 24% for profits more than RM100m... The amount appears big..but being a big cashflow company, its effect does not seem too impactful to me..just my views
