Hello Pnb, melly Krismas, ini kaunter lu punya, dari 2.70 , sikalang 29c. Woa, banyak susah lor. Lu olang ada ingat baik baik kah, bila buat ini bizness, harga minyak masa itu, terlalu tinggi. Theoretical ex-rights is 39.5 sen. Major shareholders losing big time. With oil price recovering, 40 sen seems reacheable in the immediate term.

Can I ask a question here. I have a fren holding UMWOG since few years ago, and he has average down and subscribe for right issue as well.

As at today, he is holding around 275,000 unit of UMWOG, with average cost of RM0.78.

He is around 35 years old, married with 1 child, his annual income is around RM120k.

His current portfolio market value is RM600k, and his UMWOG market value currently is around value at RM86k, so is around 15% of his total portfolio.

The paper loss on UMWOG is around RM128k.

He still have excess cash of RM40k available to buy any stock now.

If you were him, would you cut loss, sell 50%, buy more or put-aside waiting for oil recovery.

buy umwog at current price....0.3 is the lowest...the highest is RM 4.00...earning is improved... almost 100% owned by PNB, KWAP, KWSP...so, imagine , when this stock come to recovery, how many % of profit you can reap if you buy now.

This stock is beyond anybody there to predict the direction, its too huge n almost 40% of retailers hav this share...I would class it as one of the good trading stocks, can make 2 sen should be consider very good liau.. I just placed out 2 ml bought 28.5 make a reasonable profit...remember it trade at any level, but stick to principle if 1.5 sen mean 1.5 ,do not greed , there are more than 100 traders from big to small, private to govn,local to foreign, my contacts from australia n uk are actively playing this games ....28~34 shall b traded for sometime...I can say you cant sell short will loose out eventually.....to small retailers ,this place not very suitable for u if cant tahan for another 100 weeks !!!!

Hi ALB,
I'm an investor at this level. My exit strategy will be premised on the following,
1. The next qtr result should show RM40-50m profit b4 impairments (if any)
2. Brent crude stays above USD60
3. Share price does not fall below 27sen

Every investor have their own strategy. O&G stocks are in the very high risk category.
So a stop loss strategy must be in place
