Business is getting better as reported , so going back to 30c is possible but near impossible. With the services fully engaged n contracts fulfilled to near peak compared with the last qtr, stock price will see gradual increase to better reflect co growth n future returns. If substantial shareholders stop selling , definitely, price increase will return in conjunction with the rapid rise of crude n expected services n contracts going to be given out to all the service providers.

UMW Oil & Gas TP upgraded at Hong Leong IB

(Jan 12): Hong Leong Investment Bank Bhd analyst Kah Ming Yip upgraded the recommendation on UMW Oil & Gas Corp Bhd to hold from buy.

Yip raised the target price to 41 sen from 38 sen, matching the stock's last close. The target is 2% above the consensus average of 40 sen. UMW O&G had four buy recommendations, three holds and one sell previously.

Analysts lowered their consensus one-year target price for the stock by 32% in the past six months. Forecasts range from 29 sen to RM1.13.

Look at HY all the analyst targets fall below theiur share price. Yet HY gallop like a horse from $14 to $ 19 from 27 Dec till the start of NY ( a mere 5 days ) analyst will revised thier target price as and when the counter is up.
