alpha, you are forgetting decay 2/3. Price will certainly push up if KLCI below 1500, but need strong buying.

decay doesn't matter as long as not inside the last 90 days yet.

You cant calculate decay using formula, doesn't work at all because premium is constantly shifting according to market sentiment.

If you used your stupid calculation you would never guess HK could run all the way from 15c to 55c last time. I rdy said syndicate alrdy bought, do not make me angry and doubt me, good luck.

Alpha, mind ur landuage,throwing words makes you less professional. I am not against this put going forward, question is how far, really depends on KLCI position. This put has another 105 days left,if 1500 is reached within the expiry period, no one would want to invest also. If 1500 reached within this month, then i agree with you on the premium where this counter can shoot more than 0.2. So let's bear in mind how far KLCI will drift. I suspect 1500 by January at least after stock sell off.

Jason, not necessarily the case. The Fed sentiment is very strong. The market is betting these aspects on Dec 16;
i) Will fed raise interest this month
ii) If yes, then how much is the rate?

The world is watching on Fed's move, and usually after Fed rate, there is a ripple effect to stock market. Due to interest rate, cost of borrowing will increase and people defer investment methods. Within 1 - 2 years, stocks will crash. This is based on historical records. We should see the same cycle in future.

So my guess is 1550-1580 in a week or two then rally back to 1650 after a few months

Alpha, yes most people 0.25% but its too low to keep Fed's credibility. You think Fed wants to keep increase 25 basis point every meeting. I still think it will be higher than this, but not more than 1%.
