Adakkah MSWG, Bursa Malaysia Dan Suruhanjaya Sekuriti Cuba Melindungi KPMG?
Bursa Malaysia boleh sahaja mengeluarkan Kenyataan Media mereka sendiri. Sebaliknya umum berpendapat Kumpulan Pemantau Pemegang Saham Minoriti (MSWG) seolah-olah digunakan untuk menyampaikan hasrat mereka.

Adakah sebarang kemungkinan Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif (CEO) MSWG digunakan untuk melindungi pihak-pihak tertentu? Untuk rekod, CEO MSWG, Devaneson Evanson mempunyai pengalaman selama 18 tahun di Bursa Malaysia dalam pengawalseliaan dan operasi pasaran.

CEO MSWG dipetik Fokus Malaysia, baca di sini, berkata,
Serba Dinamik harus memberikan tarikh yang indikatif mengenai bila laporan Special Investigation Review (SIR) akan tersedia untuk memberi sedikit keselesaan kepada pemegang saham minoriti membuat keputusan jangka panjang.

Laporan The Edge, bertarikh 12/07/2021, baca di sini, menulis,
Bursa sebelum ini telah mengarahkan skop penilaian bebas yang telah dipersetujui di antara Jawatankuasa Audit Serba Dinamik Holdings Berhad (Serba Dinamik) dan firma juruaudit, EY Consultancy Sdn Bhd (EY), hendaklah dibentangkan kepada pihak pengawal selia. Serba Dinamik berkata, mereka dalam proses untuk melantik EY, namun masih menunggu maklum balas dari KPMG, termasuk pengesahan bertulis mengenai kerjasama yang akan mereka berikan kepada pihak yang dilantik.
Perubahan itu juga menuntut agar penilai bebas melaporkan terus kepada Bursa Malaysia dan Suruhanjaya Sekuriti (SC) mengenai sebarang kemajuan dan penemuan.

Ironinya, The Edge pula pada 06/09/2021 membuat laporan bertajuk "EY provides biweekly progress updates to independent directors, says Serba Dinamik" atau "EY Akan Menyediakan kemaskini kemajuan secara dua minggu sekali kepada Pengarah Bebas, Serba Dinamik".

Dalam pada itu, Pengarah Bebas dan Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Audit Serba Dinamik, Johan Ishak memberi komitmen kepada Free Malaysia Today (FMT), video di bawah, bahawa tidak akan berkompromi dengan sebarang kesalahan dan salah laku.

Dengan keyakinan dengan mengatakan mereka akan mengambil tindakan sekiranya sebarang salah laku ditemui, Pengarah Bebas ini pastinya amat yakin bahawa tidak ada sebarang salahlaku ditemui oleh pihak Penilai Bebas setakat ini.

Adakah ini sebabnya Bursa Malaysia diam seribu bahasa dan Suruhanjaya Sekuriti takut KPMG akan kalah dalam kes mereka?

How can EY confirm KPMG's issues when post balance sheet events come into play?

Eg. Diputed revenue and trade debtor where customer paid SD after 31/3/2021? How then? Still an issue?

Here is 3 facts that EY have to deal with (and eventually Bursa/SC)

Fact 1 (and applies to all disputed customers actually)

KPMG said this customer owe alot of money, maybe hundreds of millions. The revenue in since 2019 amounting to billions of ringgit. Seems like never get paid.

Then miraculously, post 31/3/2021, this "disputed" customer not only paid in full (or nearly full and within credit terms) the amount owing, but also confirm the balances outstanding at 31/3/2021.

Furthermore, these customers were able to suddenly provide "work site / project site" details that were previously shown in google maps as barren and/or empty land.

Bank transfers for these payments verified against the receiving bank as from the "disputed" sender.

Fact 2 (vendors)

KPMG said these vendors provide services cannot be located and pricing is dubious. But eventually, during SIR, they are shown the equipment and managed to contact the vendors. Vendors also confirm the outstanding balances at 31/3/2021. And SD procurement dept. were able to show quotations from other vendors of the same items before approving to appoint so-called "disputed" vendors.

Bank transfers for these payments verified against the vendor bank as to the "disputed" vendor. Even this documentation is tallied with BNM forex transfer disclousure.


Fact 3 (assets)

Suddenly, assets can be verified physically and then even confirmed by the "companies" that warehoused them previously with documentation.

SIR has a pre-determined job scope all preset/pre-determined. Thats the role of independent reviewer. Its not audit work.

Anything out of SIR is IA work.. comprende?

I really pity M'sia G rather than KPMG. If KPMG is booted out of M'sia, it would be bad for our FDI for a while until trust regains in our financial markets.

That is the conumdrum that Bursa/SC is facing now. Who to blame and how to repair the damage.
