@Edwardong53 agreed.The regulators,underwriters,IBs are also party to such embarrassing IPO fiasco.
2.They should have done their jobs,duties and responsibilities diligently to ensure that the public shareholders' interests are safeguarded at all times.They know the public who subscribe for the shares many would not understand or read the prospectus.
But within the regulators,underwriters,IBs they have the experts,analysts,accountants who can sieve through the company details,financial accounts,record and identify any irregularities if any.
3.Reflecting back to the few share counters from China.What happened today? Except one most of them are in the distressed position.PN 17 beckoning? De-listing?
4.What those cases can tell you of our regulator's expertise as oversight over the companies pre-IPO.

Outcome: There are a lot of lessons that can be picked up from this uneventful IPOs.But sad,most of them including the public have short and forgetful memory.Over times,the same thing happen again and again.At what cost- painful and cost dearly:-(((

Refer to some comments above. May be the KPI for the authority is number count (number of listed companies) instead of the quality which is important for long term investors. This is proven as almost all Chinese listed companies are non performers yet we don't see many actions taken. Good luck for all market players.

Think must get clear picture before jump.....is there any misconduct...i.e. witheld materials info before Ipo...will SC investigate...will fund manager take legal action? Not sure.. better avoid for now.

It's not about fundamental or their dividend policy. The ipo gave bad taste to investors. It will find its bottom soon enough.

The NC1 plant underwent a turnaround in July, but would not cause a huge decline in revenue due to its smaller size and shorter period of closure.

Following the maintenance works on both NC1 and NC2 plants, Lotte Chemical is not expected to make another shutdown for the plants for the next five to six years.

To be fair, and to some extent, Lotte IPO only initial in July and new shareholder only start invest in Lotte in July onward.

Therefore, these new shareholder should look Lotte financial result from July-Sept, the next Q3 result to justified their investment.
