Feeling really refreshed today after four days of a very relaxing getaway with my family :D

I wanted to reply to rr88's comments but I've forgotten which one was it. Ah well, probably he has deleted it like he always does.

Anyway, I managed to grab some at RM1, which brings my average price from 1.043 down to 1.034. Kind of frustrated didn't queue my purchase at 0.99, but that's life.

In case revenue n profit for next qr drop by 30% to 50%, Maybank Research could rerate TP lower to 0.80 or below ... however, if no drastic drop then it would be fine ... be cautious of a time bomb ...

Yes, I will review my holding position in GT every quarter, as this is my second counter after IFCAMSC that I have ever invested in without knowing its fundamentals beforehand.

What was supposed to be just a touch-and-go intraday counter for me has somehow turned into my medium term portfolio.

Ok tell you guys one true story

He who has ears to listen better listen now

Last time Calvin bought PECD

Pecd was touted to go jb in middle East and earn big big monies

Nst came out with a glowing report

I already bought PECD around 22 sen
At the news of Nst pecd went limit up to over 50 sen

I was surprised but very happy

Then NST came out with another better story about PECD

And pecd gone limit up the 2nd time to over 80 sen. In just weeks pecd was up 300%

Knowing that price has moved up so much I sold pecd and parked in Gopeng at 70 sen

Why buy Gopeng? Because Gopeng owned 1/3 of hanjoon cement (ytl owned 2/3)

And Gopeng share price was a laggard while pecd was moving fast and furious

So I sold pecd already up so much and parked money in Gopeng with deep value yet unmoved

This is to preserve my gains and prevent losses

And I was correct

Pecd later gone limit down twice to 22 sen and then delisted

For Gopeng ytl bought over it's hanjoon cement shares and Gopeng later gave out a 30 sen special dividend

At that Gopeng share price gone up almost double to Rm1.30

Tell you what you should do now

Better sell greatec anything above Rm1.00 and switch to Asb at 14 sen

Why buy Asb?

Answer

Asb has disposed one asset which will bring in 8.3 sen net

So sell a bubble and buy a solid

Gopeng didn't move for quite sometime while pecd moved alot fast and furious

Eventually pecd burnt itself out and became zero

Slow and steady Gopeng sold hanjoon cement to ytl cement and gave a nice 30 sen dividend and price still ok till today

So better be slow and steady

Be safe and not sorry

Gopeng is still at 70 sen today after giving so much special dividend and yearly dividend while pecd no longer exist

Asb = A safe buy
Will be around for another 100 years as its lands and beaver hotel(more than 100 years old)
Will greatec still exist then?

TA giving 4.1 sen dividend which yields 6% "which is twice that of fd rate

After ex Tony Tiah will back up to 66 sen

So TA is the taiko of value

Last time Kaf boss offered Rm1. 30 to take it private but rejected
Then Kaf lady boss took Kaf private at Rm2. 60

Tony might later take TA private above RM1. 20

So better run from great trap and escape to TA enteprize
