changlk03: The quarterly/ytd earnings (net income) of SALCON should be read inclusive of both the continuing and discontinued operations. It was separated out for tax purposes (*no tax on discontinued operations). This probably is the divested Chinese water and wastewater operations. Financials then look good with an eps of 3.34c and NTA of 84c. Top it off with a dividend of 3.0c plus special dividend on the way.
The NTA will increase by another 15.8 sen/share to 99.8c from the disposal gain of RM94.61m from the china wastewater disposal exercise (total cash of RM284m net of liabilities). The future prospects of this company is excellent as they hv great plans from with windfall of RM284m. Agree with mike, sure gap up tomorrow.
psd57, yup.. just noticed my sentence is half-hanging there. After tax profit from continuing operations + discontinued operations. hehe. thanks for clarifying.

One thing I noticed about DAYA's trend is that it will run for 1-2 days with high volume, then it will most likely to go sideways or retreat slightly lower than SMA20 before continuing its uptrend journey.
