region, if you are playing for short term, it is not as bad as you think. It is actually a lot safer than we think. Here is some research that I have done.

I posted this a few weeks ago:
as you know, warrants lose value faster when they approach expiry date. How bad is it? Here is an example.

HSI-C14, expiry on 30 March 2016, exercise price 20,200. Assuming HSI future constant at 20,200, and constant Implied Volatility at 31.4%

HSI-C14 loses about 1 sen a day with 2-3 weeks remaining, and loses about 2-3 sen a day with 1 week remaining. Therefore it is more suitable for intra day trade as it approaches expiry date. (Update: The last time I played C14? The day before the last trading day)

c19 long expired game and plus 17.5c only mean up 0.05 olide can fight to c17....comparison c17 no nice choice for c19 o...must see the profit earning n risk reward method

HSI: They opened the "better still gap +350 @20500" at 20537 hitting 20735 gaining 585 overnight (I think alot of hongkis in HK will love this run if they follow my outlook since last friday bottom ---kikiki!)

Queue sold my C17 at 0.33 when index hit 20720,so i presume this is makuali valuation /pricing...

Now we should hope for retracement of 150 point and see how it close the earlier gaps @ 20750 @20810-25

bits, there shud not be retesting 20000, it shud (with retracement) be all the way up now, to be normal for HSI (unlike the t+4 KLCI)!!!

region, I based my opinion on theory. But if both C17 and C19 offer the same upside in percentage in real life, then go ahead and buy C19. But I want to stress that it is SAFE to play those warrants that are going to expire within a month. You do not have to worry about it at all if you play short term. Proven. Like I said I played C14 on the second last day. Another thing is those warrants with expiry date within a month usually move more.

vivocom : i am not sure whether it will retest the 0.24 before MidApril,since they oredi done the 0.22 pullback feb19-26...but april15 or before it shud launch from the current 0.26-27 to 0.37 in 5 weeks.

Vovocom's graph got direction. The direction : is the formation of tight range 0.275-0.27 for 4 weeks now (clearer in weekly chart), if next (on the chosen) week it close 0.28,then it's ready to jump 0.37 or even 0.40(????)

Always bear in mind this TRICKY thing abt trading HSI-Cs or Hs against underlying indices of HSI Cash or future charts...... there is the day- market (now, for HK & Msia) there is the night-market (for ang-mor in the west), you may see the highs or the lows, but it happens in the wrong market...(you can miss it thru no fault of yours ).....
