Good or bad QR results does not matter. It’s a controlled counter, price will move in the direction pointed by major shareholders.
Expects warrant to open below 10sen.
Take profits whenever possible.

They don't even have a column ready to fill in dividend (amount).

ChloeTai, only the majority owners of CAB can answer that. As at today it’s not looking good, volume is very low, could mean major shareholders are already out of the market. Better wait and see.

Ex px is 63 cents. Normally 5 yr tenure can have 10 % premium. Warrant value is 3.5 cents plus 10% is 7 cents. Thus at listing CAB-WA should be around 10 cents. Let us hope due to good results as half year eps of 10 cents, is more than last years, warrant price shall be higher.

Is the bonus of free warrant really free?.
1.In a short span of time CAB had a spectacular run from 46 sen to its peak at 77 sen. The mini bull was supported by exceptionally good financial performance and culminate to the bonus reward of 1 free warrant for 3 shares.
2.The share price on a cum basis was 71 sen and on ex date it was re adjusted to
[( 71 x 3)+ 63] / 4 = 69 sen
Thereafter the share price has weaken and continued to fall. Today it closed at 62.5 sen and the warrant closed at 12 sen on debut.
3.Those who have followed the corporate exercise would get 1 lot warrant value at Rm120 and acquired 3 lots by paying 71 sen each. The share price has slipped down to 62.5sen and you suffered a loss of Rm255.
Hence your rewards of free warrant is not enough to offset the loss in value of the mother share.
4. Basing on my personal observations and experience the corporate exercise involving free warrants invariably ends up in this undesirable and unprofitable manner.
5.The warrant is a sweetener to induce you to buy the mother shares forming part of the manipulator's devilishly conceptualized game plan to push up the share price that would eventually turned sour.
6. It happened in PTrans, in MNHolding, in Yew Lee and now CAB
7.On hindsight and in all future endeavors with free warrants, it is more wise to forgo the warrant and sell on strength. It is unwittingly foolish and reckless to buy the mother share for the free warrant.
8. We already know there is no free lunch in this world. And,there ain't no tooth fairy.

Warrant is overpriced. At 0.18, buying warrant for conversion will cost 0.81, a 25% premium over mother share.
A fair price for warrant is 0.08, giving a 10% premium over mothershare on conversion.

Subsidy is about RM200m per month. With or without price cap all the big boys have been showing all time high profits with such a massive amount of subsidises. The latest new is actually bullish for big poultry players.

in total yes the entire industry will be making the same
but the smaller scale players will be eaten up by the bigger scale players.
Thats why these listed big boys profit has been trending up despite the price control

Good profit and steady profit. Still no sign of dividend. Keep so much money for what.
Now chicken companies got offer cheap loan, so refinance and save interest is a good move.
If 4 eps x 4 x 6 times PE, fair. at least 8-10 times PE lah, coz its steady.
