The Board of Directors of EKA Noodles Berhad (“EKA” or “the Company”) wishes to announce that EKA had received a special notice from Messrs Sheffie & Partners who act for Norhayati Binti Tukiman on 25 May 2021 at 6.01 pm. The Company was advised by its solicitors that the special notice is invalid due to insufficient notice period given to EKA.

Norhayati binti Tukiman is Zamsaham's sister guys. Zamsaham's real name is Norizam bin Tukiman.

Yup EKA is suspended until the takeover issue is resolved. I really regret I only bought 1 lot instead of 25k lots.
Even if it's delisted, EKA is not a weak company like Silverbird. There's a very good reason it's Malaysia's leading beehoon manufacturer.

I have seen lot of speculator burn their hand like this, company got Delisted but they can't SOLD their shares.

Unless otherwise stated, all abbreviations used herein shall have the same meaning as those mentioned in the announcements dated 31 May 2021, 01 June 2021, 02 June 2021 and 04 June 2021 in relation to the Notice of Requisition for an Extraordinary General Meeting of the Company to Move Resolutions requiring Special Notice pursuant to Sections 206(3) and 322 of the Companies Act 2016 (“Announcements”)
Further to the Announcements, the Company wishes to announce that on the hearing of the Injunction Application on 11 June 2021, Ms. Norhayati Binti Tukiman vide her solicitors have provided the undertaking not take any further steps pursuant to the Notice of Requisition dated 31 May 2021 until disposal of the hearing of the Company’s Originating Summons to seek relief, among other to declare the said notice is invalid and the Court has fixed the Originating Summons for hearing on 08 July 2021
