Supermax expects each phase to produce 400 million gloves/month (phase 1). When all four phases are completed, the facility will produce 19.2 billion gloves/year

Installation of plant and machinery
shall follow once the main civil and structural works are completed in year 2023 (qtr report). I believe the installation should be started in Jan 2024. Testing n commissioning of equipment should be completed before 2nd qtr.

Very optimistic... in fact my thinking is since we see the first electrification photo on yesterday you sent... i think installation of equipment could be only be starting now... installation and commisioning and test run, i think easily 6 months... perhaps 2 more quarters... then after test run if successful, need to submit samples to FDA for certification. my 2 cents...

US tariffs exclusion on Gloves imports from china will end on May 31st. I doubt they will extend this exclusion and impose back the25% tariffs. With trump in the presidency race, Biden will act tougher with China.
With US inflation under control and imports alternatives which will/can be well absorb and not pass down to consumers, high change on the import tariffs (especially covid19 category) to be reinstated. Let's wait for the news

“Supermax’s American and Malaysian teams have been working very hard to manage the setting-up of the US operations and we are pleased to announce that construction of our first manufacturing facility will be substantially completed before the end of December 2023. The next stage will involve the installation of various manufacturing equipment including A.I., Automation and Robotics facilities. A technical team from Supermax Malaysia will be deployed to the US facility in various stages for commissioning of the manufacturing facility.
Recruitment drive start in middle of Year 2024.

Glove manufacturers is US will not survived if the 25% tariffs is not reinstated. I don't think they will continue with this exclusion made during the Covid 19 emergency. Supermx will be the main beneficiary and all big 4 will benefit if this is true. Let's see.

Usually when there is a family tussle, share prices will go up because each party beh song and will try to accumulate from the market to enlarge what they have in order to control the company. More so when the price is way below the nta.

You got read the article or not?. Already said it’s holding company, has no material effect on the listed company. From what I see when got such disputes, share prices usually go up due to some parties trying to get majority control.
