It has got to do with jobs for US citizen as number one priority
So Trump will do this
He will help protect and promote every Company or factory on Usa soil to "Create Jobs for Americans"
As such he will make sure Supermax succeed by whatever means
Not only that.
He wants Supermax to build phase two to phase four
By building more factories in Usa Trump will see more US contractors, builders, plumbers, electricians, watchman, cleaner etc , etc get jobs

if trump wants to make an example of industries that refuses to invest in USA, glove is a very good way to show what tarrif can do. imposing 20% or 30% or even 100% tarrif on glove won't cause much problem to USA economy, gloves are so cheap, dirt cheap, but the message is good. those that open factory in USA gets rewarded while those don't open, gets punished. If 1 piece of glove cost 10 cents, and now cost say 15 cents after 50% tarrif, it doesn't hurt... but if many rushed to open factory in USA, then it sends a clear message to everyone, open now or we will impose 50% tarrif and see your company collapse.
supermax will benefit when trumps takes over. if I am the glove manufacturer in USA, i will whisper into trump's ear.... psss psss....
