That's why I allocated more than 20% of my capital to Japan...I started there in 2017, two years before WBuffett started to notice great values in those islands. Yesterday, one of those undervalued stocks(AIDA Engineering) which I bought for ¥ 799.7 around GE time last yr, finally hit a 52-wk high of ¥ 882 after already paying a ¥ 30 dividend...
Really helps my morale when this cowboy mkt entered a BEAR in 2018 which has never really ended apart from brief P&Ds in '20-'21.

There is no online platform so far. Through various IBs(eg Maybank), you can do old-fashioned fax order to KL which will call a broker in Tokyo to execute your order. Only Jpn nationals can do online trading, so us foreigners have to put up with this system for a while... Regardless, I've managed to earn on 36 Japanese stocks so far with the 6th Anniversary of my first trade there coming up in July & Jpnese dividend income is up to 15-20% of total dividends this year.

Redtone fundamentally superior to Ock & Rohas
Redtone PE 8x, OCK PE 12x, Rohas PE 10x. And Redtone giving 2.5sen = 3.9% dividend

COMPLETION OF BUKIT CHAGAR’S FAÇADE FOR MALAYSIA RAPID TRANSIT SYSTEM SDN

1. INTRODUCTION
The Board of Directors of Rohas Tecnic Berhad (“RTB” or “Company”) is pleased to announce that RohasEuco Industries Bhd – Sediabena Builders Sdn Bhd Consortium (“Consortium”), comprising Rohas-Euco
Industries Bhd (“REI”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, and Sediabena Builders Sdn Bhd
(“SBSB”) has on 8th January 2024 signed the Letter of Acceptance issued by Malaysia Rapid Transit
System Sdn Bhd (“MRTS”), a subsidiary of Mass Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn Bhd in respect of the
construction and completion of Package 8 Construction and Completion of Bukit Chagar Station’s Façade
for the Rapid Transit System Link Johor Bahru – Singapore Project (“RTS Link Project - Package 8”).
2. INFORMATION ON THE CONSORTIUM, REI AND SBSB
2.1 Consortium
The Consortium comprising REI and SBSB was formed pursuant to an agreement between REI and
SBSB dated 20th October 2023 for the purpose of bidding for the RTS Link Project - Package 8 and
to undertake the execution of the RTS Link Project - Package 8, if awarded.
Upon award of the RTS Link Project - Package 8, REI and SBSB will enter into a detailed joint
venture agreement with the following proposed equity ratio:
REI: 70%
SBSB: 30%
2.2 REI
REI is a public limited company incorporated in Malaysia and having its registered office at 15th Floor,
East Wing, Rohas Tecnic, No. 9, Jalan P. Ramlee, 50250 Kuala Lumpur. The issued and paid-up share
capital of REI is RM73,787,229 comprising 68,377,306 ordinary shares.
The principal activities of REI include
(1) design and fabrication of steel structures for high-tension transmission towers, microwave towers
and substations structures; and
(2) provision of other fabrication and installation works.
2.3 SBSB
SBSB is a private limited company incorporated in Malaysia and having its registered office at 2A, Jalan
SS 25/22, Taman Mayang, 47301 Petaling Jaya, Selangor Darul Ehsan. The issued and paid-up share
capital of SBSB is RM5,000,000.00 comprising 5,000,000 ordinary shares.
The principal activity of SBSB include the design, supply, fabrication and installation of steel structures
and other general contract works.
3. SALIENT TERMS OF THE LETTER OF ACCEPTANCE
The salient terms of the Letter of Acceptance, are inter alia as follow:-
(a) the total contract sum for the RTS Link Project - Package 8 is RM199,839,123.00 (Ringgit Malaysia
One Hundred Ninety Nine Million Eight Hundred Thirty Nine Thousand One Hundred Twenty Three
Only), which shall be inclusive of the prevailing Sales and Services Tax; and
(b) the RTS Link Project - Package 8 is expected to be completed by 31st May 2025.
