I also want to know whether what they intend to do is going to be beneficial to the holder of this loan stock

As i know there were RM60 interest PA... which is a good return for it... but then as there is a meeting on the
"PROPOSED PURCHASE OF 7-YEAR 6% REDEEMABLE CONVERTIBLE SECURED LOAN STOCKS 2011/2018 (“RCSLS”) FOR SUBSEQUENT CANCELLATION THEREOF AND PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE TRUST DEED DATED 27 MAY 2011 RELATING THERETO (“PROPOSED RCSLS BUY BACK”)"
So don't know will it bring good news for it... as they will reduce the amount of share in the market and reduce their company loan!!!

If to reduce loan should be good news for the company but what abt the holder of this RCSLS, is it good news??

Not sure... but if said you buy in at the price 1.05 per share with the dividend of 6% par value of RM1 equal to RM60 PA... still higher rate compare having the money in the FD...
But with the condition of the market will not drop...!!! So is a risk too!!!
Once if mother share run break RM1 and up... Loan stock will run with mother!!!

Wrong sector- property. Next yr is hell suffering yr, build house no ppl buy how? Build pavilion no ppl go shopping any more how?

those who purchase Malton La today must immediately prepare conversion as last day of conversion is 23rd May next week. after that, more than 45% of the Malton LA you hold will be redeemed at RM1 with interest. Just make those involve in this counter are aware.
