Reason Following the Capital Reduction and Repayment undetaken by Alliance Financial Group Berhad (AFG) under its Corporate Reorganisation exericse, involving the cancellation of all the ordinary shares in AFG and distribution-in-specie of the entire shareholdings of AFG in Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad (ABMB) to the entitled shareholders of AFG on the basis of one (1) ABMB share for every one (1) AFG share held in accordance to Section 116 of the Companies Act 2016 (CA 2016). Pursuant to Section 8(4) of the CA 2016, I'm deemed interested in ABMB through my interest in Langkah Bahagia Sdn Bhd (LBSB). LBSB is deemed interested in ABMB by virtue of Section 8(4) of the CA 2016 through Vertical Theme Sdn Bhd, which holds 449,857,775 ordinary shares or 29.06% in ABMB.
