The reality is that house prices are rising quicker than salaries can keep up. The government and Bank Negara Malaysia have been making efforts to cool the situation. What is driving home prices beyong reach? Are the authorities doing enough? Can developers play a role?

Right now Malaysian still has affordable housing.
You will one day face with a more realistic housing problem.

Why?

Land price never drop.
Material cost never drop.
Labour cost never drop.
Statutory contribution never drop.
Marketing cost never drop.
Subsidy to low and affordable housing never drop.
Bumi quota never drop.
Discount given to bumi buyers must made good from others.
Profit margin must maintain.

So one day you will have a housing problem like Hongkong or China, where each individual has only 40 sf living space.
