Bull or Bear? Is investing into the US Equity Market for 2014 a wise choice?

Like many of us, we seek for financial security and ultimately financial freedom. This blog is intended to act as a journal of investment as I journey towards that dream. At the same time, I hope that the articles written here would also benefit many others who share the same vision as me.
A few weeks ago, I've posted an article about diversifying your unit trust portfoliovia lump sum investing. One of the investment area identified in the portfolio is the US Equity Market as shown below:
Why US Equity?
Many investors are predicting that the US stock market has reached the end of the bull market and that 2014 will usher in the era of the bear market. The poor performance of the Dow Jones over the past four trading days has seen the index fell from 16458.56 points on Jan 17th to 16197.35 points on Jan 23rd, losing approximately 1.59% or 261.21 points.
Could this signify the start of a bear market for the US equity market? Are the charts and graphs telling investors that the worst is yet to come?

US market is in the top now and I forsee they will start dropping soon. beware.

Doube impact crash prediction next week due to Dow Jones drop 315 point last night and profit taking for Chinese New year celebration next week. CI will drop below 1800 pts, good time to buy stock with discaunt by the end of the week.

Saham ni macam cuaca juga. Masa cerah tak hujan, semua kaki nujum kata tak hujan sampai 7 keturunan. Tapi bila taufan datang sampai laut banjir, dah katak nujum ramai pulak kata dah akhir zaman. Jangan worry, bursa tetap menjunam 100 mata punya sampai murah jadi lebih murah. Yang anehnya, murah tak ada yang beli sebab takut. Masa mahal tak takut pulak. Betullah, manusia saham ni pelik sangat. Yang logik jadi tak logik. Yang murah kata jangan beli, masa mahal sibuk terjun beli.

@duitbesar: i like!! logic.. when cheap people scare, when expensive people buy .. also part of reasons apart from tukar counter macam seluar dalam yg bikin orang rugi
