Shafie doubts Warisan can stabilise Fed Govt

KOTA KINABALU: Parti Warisan Sabah has voiced doubts whether the new Federal Government would definitely stabilise if the party were to shift its support to Perikatan Nasional.

“Do you think the whole of Malaysia will stabilise if I rethink our position? No, it won’t stabilise immediately, ” said Warisan president Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie

Apdal.

Shafie, who is Chief Minister, was responding to media queries about opposition Parti Bersatu Sabah president Datuk Seri Dr Maximus Ongkili’s call to Warisan to consider changing its stand and fully support the Perikatan Nasional government.

“Why do we have to rethink? I don’t want the (national) political illness to spread to Sabah. We should not place importance on positions and ranks, ” he told reporters after launching a Sabah Health Carnival here.

“I do not want to follow the political waves happening there (Peninsular Malaysia). We have to stop this culture of political jumping from one party to another. We don’t need this culture.

“What are we trying to teach our grandchildren with this sort of lompat (jumping) culture?

“We must have strong values in what we do and what we stand for, ” he said, adding that some politicians had crossed over four times in one day.

He said Sabah under the Warisan coalition government was stable and had already worked with the former Pakatan Harapan national government on development plans.

The state, he said, would continue to cooperate with the Federal Government for the benefit of the state and country.

“We already have an established working formula with the Federal Government and their agencies here. We have to work with them. What is important is for us to work for the people and country, not personal politics, ” he said.

Warisan, which was Pakatan-friendly, had decided to stay put with Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

After much reflection, all this started with the PH Presidential Council of which Tun M, DS Anwar, Lim KS, Lim GE and others are member. They should all take responsibility for the mess as they and only they agreed just before GE14 as candidates (the treacherous MPs that had leap-frog away) and accepting Bersatu as partner of PH and now they are gone. And most knew what character they are of.

Like in the "so-called" western countries that are "democratic" and of principled people (that we all aspired to be), they - Tun M, DS Anwar, Lim KS, Lim GE should immediately resigned to take responsibility. Anything less is an affront to the voters that have voted for PH. And worse of all, they said they are not responsible and pointing fingers at everyone else except themselves - what a disgraced, a damn lousy example you all are setting, especially those that are writing apology for them.

Now is the time for the so call young progressive members (e.g Nurul, Wan Saiful, etc) of all these political parties to stand up and take over the leading from all these old leaders that are totally bankrupt of any new ideas to lead and of no moral standing whatsoever..

Most probably, Warisan will lose GE15! Intels from my undercover friends suggest that Warisan already lost ground with Sabah people!

Malay unity govt can be achieved by bersatu running back to PH and forming a govt comprising of;

1. Muhiddin- PM
2. Anwar- DPM
3. Mahathir- Senior Minister PM dept
4. Rafizi/zeti- Finance Minister
5. Mat sabu- Internal Minister
6. Nurul Anwar- Education Minister

Dap should not accept any cabinet post but should be a back benchers govt pro party in charge of ombudsmen appointment and parliament reformed so that can keep all malay unity govt in check for the benefit of all malaysian loh....!!

A president council comprising all the supporting parties like bersatu, pkr, amanah, dap and warisan should be appointed to oversee and balance the power of PM so that we will never fall back to dictator regime loh...!! This president council should be headed by shafie abdal of warisan loh....!! The President council will oversee the appointment of the quality of cabinet minister loh...!!

This all malay cabinet team plus Daps as umpire should serve well for malaysia until next general election loh...!!

With Muhiddin run back & anwar as DPM that will reinforce PH & bring back confidence loh...!!

They should be a racial & religous harmony law and anti hopping law loh...!!

Sosma will be abolished loh....!!

MA63 will be honored but the monetary payout to sabah & Sarawak will be incremental increase over 8 years until it achieve target loh...!!
