VALUATION DOES NOT DETERMINE THE PRICE, IT'S JUST A TOOL TO ESTIMATE A VALUE OF A BIZ

"How do you save RM50,000? - I shared with a friend on how to do it. I got a term life for RM280 p.a covering RM100k until 70 years old. I cancelled my wholelife insurance of RM2,800 p.a. for the same coverage up to 100 years old. Save RM2500 p.a x 20 years = RM50,000. (PM0122037325)

.....IS THIS ARTICLE FAKE OR FACT?? ANYONE CAN CONFIRM?

DELEVERAGING IS NOT OVER

According to Gary Shilling, there is still a couple of years to go for USA deleveraging before doubling its GDP.  GDP since 2009 to 2014 is about 2.2% p.a.  He believe the 10 year treasury (now is 2.4%), will continue to drop to about 1%.  Hence, it is unlikely Fed going to increase interest rate soon this year.

Perhaps after another 4-5 years, after deleveraging is over, USA will reverse the slow growth of 2% to about 3-5% p.a. due to innovation and expansion.

MARC FABER ENJOYS LAUGHING

He said he takes laughing seriously.  Every morning, he will start his day by reading the comments made by one or more central banks, it makes him laugh more than watching candid camera.

Seriously, I would like to invite him to read what Malaysia PM and his cabinets says every day.  I bet, it beats the comments made by central bankers many times.

INVESTING

I like to confess that I am not a Great Investor (because I don't know what it meant).  I don't deny that I would like to grow my capital gradually by selecting the right value stocks.  As we are aware, over the past couple of years before the slow down in properties (referring more on expensive condos, i.e. >RM800 psf), there are many property gurus sprung out.  Many proclaim, you can buy a property without putting a sen down.

The clubs attracted many thousands of people.  And the early birds also make good money from flipping the properties until the government spoilt the game.  Similarly, this happening to Stocks.  There are many investing gurus out there.

I wonder, if I pass RM1000 to my say, 14 year old son to buy a stock, and, lucky him, say investments he made doubled in 6 months time.  Technically, he made 100% in 6 months time.  I hope I can declare him a Great Investor.

Even Great Investor like Warren Buffet or many others, took him more than 20 years, with his proven track record, he also did teach people how to be a Great Investor, but merely share some ideas and investing principles.

So, in any game, there is also many proclaim gurus, and get students, if you don't proclaim, who will believe you.  But of course, if that person can do it for a prolong period of more than 10 years, then, I suppose, he or she can be called a Great Investor.

SO, CAN WE BE A GREAT INVESTOR(S)

Yes, but don't forget to have fun in the process.
