The FBM KLCI (-0.69%) extended another day of decline as investors could be deploying the strategy of "sell on news" after the formation of the new Cabinet. However, the market breadth remained positive as the advancers were ahead of the decliners by with 524 gainers as compared to 486 decliners. Still, the bullish momentum on the energy sector persisted for the session, led by COASTAL (+27.0 sen), MHB (+4.5 sen) and VELESTO (+0.5 sen).
