The FBM KLCI (+0.78%) advanced, erasing all its intraday losses as gains in selected banking and utilities heavyweights lifted the key index. Market breadth turned positive as the advancers led the decliners by 482-to-398 stocks. The energy sector (-1.19%) tumbled amidst positive broader market, dragged by DIALOG (-6.0 sen), ARMADA (-1.5 sen), and HIBISCS (-4.0 sen), while the financial services sector (+1.02%) surged on the back of year-end window dressing activities.
