The FBM KLCI (+0.22%) staged a rebound after a long weekend break, powered by buying momentum in selected plantation and consumer related heavyweights. Market breadth however, remained negative as the decliners hammered the advancers by 562-to-329 stocks. Investors turned their focus to the plantation counters (+1.39%) such as SIMEPLT (+17.0 sen), KLK (+44.0 sen), and IOICORP (+6.0 sen), while leaning away from the transportation & logistics sector (-1.00%).
