Today is Sunday again! I love the LORD's Day.
On this day God rested after creating the world in six days.
Yes!! According to the Bible God created this world. And man being the Apex of God's creation was made on the sixth day.
And let us now look deeper to see how man was first created
26And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
God made everything else by calling them into existence. But in the creation of man God breathed into his nostrils the breath of life. This is not just physical. This is the impartation of the soul-life. The life that is totally different from all other animals
That is why man is distinctly different from animals. At death the spirit of the animal ceases to exist whereas the soul of man continues to exist although his body might decay and perish.

So this is it
Man was made in God's Image. Made with an eternal soul that will exist even after physical death.
That is why it is very vital that we should seek to be secured in the world to come which is eternal life or eternal death.
And listen to the words of Jesus Christ
For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
CS Lewis once said. Take a sheet of paper and now draw a straight line on it. And imagine that the 4 ends of the paper stretch to infinity. Then imagine that the line drawn expresses the length of time. Say 70 years, 80 years or 100 years.
That is how short our time of physical existence on planet earth in camparison to eternity.
What is 70 years or even 100 years in comparison to a million years or a thousand million years?
Yes. How short is our life on earth. And how long is eternity or as the Bible says, FROM EVERLASTING TO EVERLASTING"
Now according to God's word man has fallen into sin when he disobeyed God's command right in the garden of Eden. Man by nature is fallen.
That is the reason for a Saviour
All men through Adam & Eve are now polluted with sin. Only a New Life From God will be the Solution.
So God sent His Son
Ha! How can God has a Son?
Yes! Look at the very words of God during creation

Ha! here is found in the Jewish word for God. God is not singular but a compound. THE GODHEAD IS OF 3 PERSONS: GOD THE FATHER, GOD THE SON & GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT

In human man made religion there is sacrifices. BUT IN CHRISTIANITY CHRIST IS ONCE OFFERED FOR ALL OUR SINS FROM ETERNITY TO ETERNITY AS "THE LAMB SLAINED FROM THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD"
All the ceremonial laws of the Jews from wearing veil to the eating of halal foods point to a problem. They only have problems after problems of finding and groping for answers in darkness
ONLY IN JESUS IS LIGHT LIFE AND THE SOLUTION!!!
Why halal & non halal?
An animal like chicken or goat (pig is forbidden in Jewish law because this animal chew the cud but don't part the hoof like a cow or goat).
And the killing of chicken or goat must be strictly observed. How? They make incision on the necks of the bird or animal and made sure that every drop of blood is drained out completely!!!
Why blood must be drained out completely?
LIFE IS IN THE BLOOD!
Yes! Life is in the blood. Even Christians should not eat blood on its own

But Jesus came to restore our broken relationship back with God
So now He tells us to seek God first. Ask, seek & knock on God's door by prayer & all that we need will be provided for.

Wallace "Wally" Amos was born in Tallahassee, Florida, USA July 1, 1936. In 1948 he moved to New York City to live with his aunt where they often baked cookies together.[2] As an adult, Amos, an Air Force veteran who worked as a talent agent with the William Morris Agency, would send his home-baked chocolate chip cookies to celebrities to entice them to meet and perhaps sign a deal with his agency. Amos hit a plateau working for the William Morris Agency and decided to strike out on his own.
On March 10, 1975, Amos took the advice of some friends, and with $25,000 from singers Marvin Gaye and Helen Reddy,[3] he opened a cookie store at 7181 Sunset Blvd., Hollywood in Los Angeles, California, naming it "Famous Amos".[1] In the first year he sold $300,000 worth of cookies, followed by more than $1,000,000 in sales in the store's second year of operation. By 1982 the company's revenues reached $12 million.[3]
The store proved so popular that the "Famous Amos" brand eventually branched out to sell cookies in supermarkets, a move that would later be emulated by other specialty stores such as Baskin-Robbins, T.G.I. Fridays, and Starbucks.
