Hi guys,

By now every one is clear that ECRL (East Coast Rail Link)  has been shifted to Negeri Sembilan Route

And Calvin Tan Research has already mentioned Mui Prop (Bandar Springhill0 , AsiaPac (Labu & Semenyih), MKH (Kajang)

will benefit because they have Land Banks here.

Now I have added Two More as Visibility  Is Now Clear:  1) L&G (3174) 2) OLYMPIA (3018)

Both L&G and Olympia are Real Estate Stocks (for Olympia  also own a security firm)

Report: Putrajaya-Kajang link may be revived with LRT4 Malaysiakini

Works had begun on a monorail line connecting Putrajaya to Kajang, but construction was abandoned in 2004 due to cost constraints.

In contrast, the LRT3 line from Bandar Utama to Klang will cost RM15.02 billion.

The Star report said that if the LRT4 plan proceeds, it will be under the oversight of local authority Putrajaya Corporation and the Federal Territories Ministry.

Apart from the MRT2 line and the possible LRT4 line, the East Coast Rail Link will also have a station in Putrajaya, as will the Kuala Lumpur-Singapore High-Speed Rail, the construction of which is postponed until 2020.

BUT since market will be impacted by T3 to T2

Cannot contra or punt

If you buy you must hold

Or else just keep cash first and wait

These 3 things will weigh down Malaysian Markets

1. T3 to T2 will sap liquidity. Bad for day trades and contra plays

2. May is usually a slow month

3. Fire in Rapid Pengerang will delay commissioning. Will dampen oil and gas stocks

So be very cautious

If not sure then keep Cash and wait

Hi Calvin, what do you think is the BOTTOM price for AsiaPac? On paper, the P/E is low, price/NTA is low, IMAGO asset is good (as I travel to Kota Kinabalu often). I believe many in this forum lost money on AsiaPac.

I picked up my Asiapac shares which I bought averaging just below 15 sen

Short term it might be affected by selling just like so many other stocks. Longer term the value will surface one day

For now must be cautious as I repeat

1) T3 to T2 on April 29th will sap liquidity and bad for contra plays

2) May is also a weak month

3) Fire in Rapid Pengerang will dampen OnG stocks

So can only buy, pick up & hold longer term

If uncertain then keep more Cash and wait
