The value of the existing money should drop unless the nation's money is the reserve currency of trade (USD). In a way, it is money dropping from the sky.

The treasury issues the bonds and another government arm is buying the very bonds. It is printing money. Truss planned to issue the big chunks of bonds and place it in the bond market. Fund managers quickly exited the bond market before it is too late. Better to exit earlier than later.

Your observation is correct. The rocket-like candle up is wave 3 as per Elliott Wave techniques. Once it reaches wave 5 n started stalling, that is probably the peak. Once wave 5 is over, the subsequent correction will correct all the 5 waves up.

Elliott wave can't predict prices but it is reliable when using it as a strategy. It is more or less, not 100%. Most ppl are thinking of striking a home-run. Unfortunately, home-run is an exception and not the norm. Those who trade to the last tic on the charts are likely to be disappointed.

The normalisation of interest rates in US after the WW2 took 25 years. It is QE forever in US. Yellan tried it but she couldn't undo QE.
