A lot of ppl have unconsciously gained immunity. The virus is all in the air. Even Antarctica is not immune to covid. The foreign workers tested positive but they have no health problems n can eat well, sleep well... Do u think they have already gained immunity? If they are counted as covid cases, surely the numbers are up.

what is the meaning of 'forced labour' ? I am sure all workers are paid. If you mean 'workers forced to do overtime', the whole economy will probably close down. I have seen my friends who leave their working place as late as 9.00 pm. But they never complain abt being forced to do OT.

Apparently, a group of politicians are trying to take advantage of covid. Calling elections during covid is a calculated attempt at keeping voters at home while they ferry their supporters to vote for them.

Why focus on a stock where you know for sure the profits and selling prices will go back to pre-pandemic levels...it doesn't matter if its this year or next...and where the longer you hold, the closer we get back to normalcy and the lower the value...

This paragraph sums up all - the disconnect between profit n price as markets are never rational since day 0.

Genting is just a holding company of many subsidiary companies. Some subsidiary may make loss while others may make profit. It does not mean that just Genm makes big losses, so Genting must also make big losses. It is a matter of offsetting profit n losses.

Most of its losses have been offset by other subsidiary companies like Genplt, Gens, China businesses etc.

Genting does not own 100% of its subsidiaries, part of it is owned by LTK's private companies. Deducting the loss not attributable to Genting shareholders, the loss to Genting is 130 million.

Like it or not, warrants are here to stay. All international markets have warrants as products. The SC has ruled in the past that the issuer of warrants has the right to trade the mother shares.

It is no brainer that the issuer will sell down the mother share to make its warrants 'out-of-the-money' before expiry.

But, what if the mother share goes up n the warrants are still 'in the money' ? Doesn't this issue should be brought up as well ? Why is the issuer acting like santa claus giving out money ? Who are the beneficiaries ?

I myself have sold some 'not so hot' shares only to find that the shares went up on the day its warrants expiry. I suspect it might be a payout to some well connected persons.

The SC should rule that issuer of warrants should not issue investment reports on the mother shares lest there be a conflict of interest.

It is the big funds that are selling. MQ would probably influence ikan bilis but I do not think it influence big funds as well. I have posted in other blogs here that after 5 Elliott waves up, an ABC correction would correct the prior 5 up waves. It reached wave 4, the support level.

The question now is whether the correction is already over. I would peg the steep decline as wave 3, the upwards correction as wave 4 n we have probably another leg down.
