Hi cksam. Thank you for your explanation. Some of your points are very valid. I see that most other forumers are more focused on the topic of trump’s tariff on metals while you spoke solely on the macro side.

But we know every market crash has a trigger. So what is it this time in your opinion? Would it be the threat to start a trade war and the reciprocal from EU?

Usually, there’re no signs of fear just before a collapse but I see so many ppl shitting in their pants. Another measurement is the spread between 2-year and 10-year treasury yield, which seems healthy at this point.

1 year ago, the dispute was already around. The price was RM 1.20. Today, despite the drop it’s above RM 2.00. Would you buy at RM 1.20 given the chance again?

Consider this, the EPS will very likely go to 50+ or even 60+ cents. But the PE is determined by the market, it could be 8 or 7 or 5. But I know if the EPS can go up to 60 cents. Even PE 5 will give RM 3.00.

Hi bro Edward and Albukhary. I didn’t enter so early as I have just started investing for around half a year before coming across this counter. I made a huge loss in mycron (-20%) before ssteel and I was burnt. I entered ssteel at RM 1.32-1.34 and then kept buying until RM 1.8x.

But to me, these are not so important. What I learned are:
1. Respect initial target, I set a target to have return higher than FD. So while ppl lose their mind chasing the maximum return possible (by doing all sorts of funny stuffs), I stayed true to my initial target.

2. I sold mycron when it crashed 2 years ago. It had an okay QR amidst super high expectation. The price when from RM 1.10 to RM 0.7x. It proved to be a ‘longkang’ trap later but I have cut loss. With this bad experience, I challenged myself to battle my inner demons. I held on to ssteel when it went down to RM 1.10 (I was deeply in the red), and I held on when it dipped from RM 2.58 to RM 2.00 and then from RM 2.40 to RM 1.80. As long as the fundamentals are unchanged I ask myself to be unshaken.

I feel that I’ve grown more matured where I don’t feel much with 5 digits up/down within a day. (I’m small Ikan bilis so this amount is bing to me). I’m still working on my emotions towards absolutely unaffected by the share price but now I’m almost there.

3. Learning that there are still many selfless ppl out there who share valuable information/insights/research with no expectation of any return. Leoting, Edward, MrPauper, Albukhary and others, directly and indirectly, you restored my faith in humanity in this cold world.

This isn’t much but I would really like to say, thank you. You all have helped me grow in my stock investment journey. It has benefited me in my personal life about how I handle things too.

Some say, the hardest part of investment after buying into a good stock is to do nothing. Time will prove if your RM 2.30 is a good exit point.

To be fair, of course there are better performing stocks out there. But there are not many industries with such clear positive prospects for the next 2-3 years.

Finally, it’s beginning to show what it’s capable of doing. Key word is, this is just the beginning of the coming 2-3 years of good profits.

I checked the charts, every time after it hit below RSI 30%, the following 10-40 days are up by 20% easily. 100% consistency since Sept 2016. Hope this is no exception.

EPS at 30 cents now, likely will continue to improve to 38-42 cents or even higher moving forward. PE at 7+. Hope it’ll go to PE 10-11 one day. The article says “If the market grants it PE 12-15 in the future, there’ll be much head room.” I hope that’s achievable.

Lowest is true. But maybe the highest can reach RM 4.20. One is allowed to hope. Hehehe.

Hi Save. EMA has less lag, that means heavier weight to more recent prices. Objectively, can’t say which one is better. As with any other measurement / metrics, you need to know the characteristics of each and what you are trying to do.

Hi Azman. Just some rule from the eastern school of TA, namely China. It’s just a game of likelihood. Nothing is guaranteed.

Hopefully today can get to EMA50, RM 2.15, or higher and stay above this level for 3 days. Then likely got show.

RM 2.15 is the EMA 50 level. Need to at least be standing on it for a couple of days before it can fly.

The ride here is the most exhilarating one amongst 4 counters imho. Durin round of dip, masteel never fell out of EMA 50, Annjoo fell below and is now back up. Lionind with disappointing QR also almost make it back nice EMA 50. Ssteel is the only one far below EMA 50. Whoever is in control of ssteel price really doesn’t give face.

Market is back. From bottom 1709 to 1748 now. That’s half way between 1700 to 1800.

If they put a 12k lot to keep the price at 1.97. It means they haven’t collected enough I suppose. I can hold for many many years, my concern is only the increasing market risk...

Looking at the last 8-10 trading days candles, there’s a curve and now it’s at the beginning to bend up. Can be seen in Annjoo, Masteel and even Lionind. Ssteel is the next one, or so I hope.
