Directors sold huge volume at 64 cent as he may need the cash to convert their warrants and on the same day someone bought 17M shares at one shot. I'm sure he can see the value of the counter that we may not or unable to see. BTW, after all the dust has settled, Fitter cash coffer will increase by RM 51M which will definitely improve its gearing ratio. The management has also bought back about 5% of its outstanding shares, hopefully, this treasury shares can be used as share dividend and then the picture will be totally different .

If you bought before the ex-date of bonus ie 29th of Oct. your bonus shares should be in your CDS acc. now even you didn't accept the right; and If you buy now, no bonus.

BTW from the 18M trading of warrant on the last day, some may be for arbitrage, but in order for the due to generate substantial yield the selling price must be at least .60 and above.

Muiyan if you want my opinion , I'll say hold. since you can hold it that long you might as well hold it for the rebound even if it drops a few cents more which I doubt. From the last day trading of warrant there were ppl buying 18M+ warrant ready to convert to mother shows that there should not be any hidden bad news from the company. It may rebound to .70 level and stay there for sometime before it further attempt to move back to the price you paid for but it takes time so please make your own decision, good luck!

Oh no ! not a genius, genius must be able to create something. For making the right decision in this case is the lesson learned after being hammered left and right from following the buy call blindly .

Ki foong , not exactly follow W.B., more because of limited bullet, besides would like to keep some cash for the coming market correction. BTW do you have any potential stock to share, would like to monitor and benefit together with all here.

I could have entered at 0.78 when research house made a buy call but on checking I noticed the 98M warrant hanging there and that stop me from buying. I did sound the warning,' watch out for the 98M in money warrant' may be I didn't stress it strong enough.

Huayang total debt to equity is 0.29, debt to total capital is 0.23 and quick ratio is 2.9 further more the interest coverage is more than 400 which indicates that the financial strength is stable.
tonylim I don't carry a lot of stocks what I have you almost have or more except Tguan which is good but not exciting because of ill liquid. Fitter is under attack, it'll be interesting to track.

What I'm referring to is since you have sold your holding at 0.605 per share and if you buy the warrant today or tomorrow and convert to mother share your holding remains the same and you can pocket the balance, isn't it a gain of a few cents ? However if you want to clear your position then do nothing.

Hong2 if you buy 25 lots of warrant now and convert them to 25 lots mother shares you have already made 3 cents per share, right ?

stock5678, PEG is the ratio of PE divided by the % of growth, it gives the connection between PE and rate of growth, normally the value of 1 is considered as FV , more than 1 is overvalued and less than 1 is considered as undervalued .eg. if a share with PE 16 and the growth rate of 20% then 16/20 is 0.8 and this share can be considered as undervalued even though the PE is high. I prefer to use PEG rather than PE alone, this gives me a chance to consider shares of high PE. In fact all my shares are with PEG less than 0.8.
2012-11-06 10:49 | Report Abuse
The PEG of Huayang is only 0.25 which indicates it is seriously undervalued if you have the intention to accumulate 1.60 is also not bad.
2012-11-05 17:35 | Report Abuse
Is only possible if the market makes a serious correction but by then others will be hard hit.
2012-11-05 15:28 | Report Abuse
If in doubt ,hold ! but from the price movement it won't be bad news.
2012-11-04 10:57 | Report Abuse
I'll only consider this ,div. yield > 4% and PEG < 0.8 , with PEG less than this value it's hard to go wrong besides, there is a chance of getting capital gain.

True or not is immaterial, why do the postmortem ? As a corporate expert he definitely knows what is the best deal for his company.

To those who want to average down and keep for long term, buy the warrant and convert it to mother, you can save a few cents.

I have 1,3 and 10 ,huayang seem to peak at this moment, multico will take a while to move so for short term gain I place my hope on tambun which has given me 15% paper gain already.

If the management know how to use the cash ( I'm sure they know ) to invest in one profitable entity its earning can easily increase by 20%-30% and hence the share price will improve.
2012-11-02 13:48 | Report Abuse
I doubt the management will allow it to drop to that level for it'll be hard to pull back. Below .60 should be very good entry level.
2012-11-02 12:29 | Report Abuse
This MAY BE the reason why the shares face a strong selling pressure , the free-float of shares is about 30%+ leaving the majority shares holders having about 60 over percent and hence about 60M+ warrant with them . to let the warrant expire is a waste ,to convert the warrant needs lots of cash, so the best way is to sell the mother and convert the warrant , the profit can be quite handsome.

I'm as much in the dark as you all, from the earning it looks OK, what I don't like is no dividend since 2009, I'm waiting for the Q3 report and the total number of warrant conversion before I make my decision to enter or not.

Preference shares have priority over common stock in payment of dividend and upon liquidation, there is no reason for the shares to command higher value than the common stock. I just don't know what the management trying to achieve in this exercise.

However it's fundamental is good for long term I'll surely buy in after the market makes a correction.
2012-10-31 10:35 | Report Abuse
Simple logic will tell you that if you have mother shares and warrant ( the majority share holders should have that ), just sell the mother and convert the warrant, the balance is still good ,about 13 sen and this is what I had pointed out in July - the risk of share dilution from warrant conversion.
2012-10-29 13:21 | Report Abuse
Agree, that's why for long term investment of fundamentally sound 2nd or 3rd liners don't buy in the hurry best is wait for the correction first.

Not yet, because of pending earning dilution from the conversion of WA, hope to enter at a better price should market make a serious correction which will come sooner or later.
2012-10-20 12:42 | Report Abuse
WA is not call warrant ,there is no reason for them to push the mother down, the only worry is share dilution after all the 98M WA being exercised and the forward EPS for 2012 may drop to around 8 sen or lower.

If kfima breaks its 1.90 support the next support should be 1.80 and not 1.55 which is my 1st entry level more than two years ago. Anyway I'm not concerned of what price it takes even it rebounds to 2.10 I'll still keep it.
2012-10-19 12:04 | Report Abuse
From the way you posted I can see that . but just to set the number right; PE is 7.6( moderate). PBV is 0.9 less than 1 ( not too bad ) and with the cash of 200M+ to take us to Holland I think more than 50% of Busar counters have already reached there and I'm sure scomi is there waiting for kfima.

For long term investment no hurry, buy when dips ; for dividend, it's hard to be rewarded in this year cos. FY 2012 earning can hardly exceed 10 sen per share so how much can we expect.

The dividend 1.5 sen/share has been paid, the share now is ex-div.. What is interesting here is the right issue, with the price now the adjusted price after the bonus is lower than the subscription asked for. In order for the right to be attractive the present price has to move up so that the ex-bonus price can be higher than the subscription, any comment ?
