Current assets increased by $2.4 bil while current liabs increase by $1.4 bil. Cash increase fr $11.4 to $13.5 bil even though gearing also up very slightly. For the last 9 mth, turnover up almost 13% which means their leisure segments are recovering nicely.

At some point, a loss announcement will have little, no or even opposite effect on shr price. Remember that the price has more than doubled from a 56.5c low amid & despite the last 3 qtrs of losses. Buyers are anticipating a return to normal demand/supply dynamics with the overstocking gradually cleared out & the closing shop of smaller players.

Sure loss one lah...it's only a question of above $100 mil or below $100 mil....Shorties are re-grouping & hoping for another massive RED no. to bring their short positions into profit hah

Now that they forced Jho Lo OUT completely via forced selling down to multi-year LOWS, like how JAKS boss forced Con yew yin out of his co. in late 2018 with a $64 mil loss, got a little bit of hope of more stability. Estimated loss for Jho Lo = $20 mil.

I doubt it. They were buying heavily when it was above 1.30 for many years. At one of the AGMs( I believe in 2014), Francis even claimed they were competing with the EPF in buying because they wanted the lion's share of the dividend to 'stay in the family'.

They are all praying HARD for a sudden drop below 1.18 to save their skins =)

Foreigners trust ppl like Francis Yeoh more than the politicians here...just like in Japan, where their sheer firepower pushed the stock index to 33-year highs, just a bit of re-rating by them can offset epf selling by 10-fold or more! Anyway the last time it was above $1 was Jun '20, not that long ago... not a big issue with just a tiny drop of the billions of US$ leaving the overvalued US markets.
