The current quarter revenue decreased by 23.2% to RM253.53 million, as
compared to RM330.11 million recorded in the preceding quarter. The decrease in

The Group’s profit before tax was reported at RM19.54 million for the current
quarter, compared to RM23.13 million recorded in the preceding quarter. The
decrease in profit before tax was mainly due to lower sales.

In accordance to the Settlement Agreement, the Settlement Sum shall be fully settled through the issuance of 295,000,000 ICULS at RM1.20 per ICULS

No surprise below 0.40 again!

Group revenue for Q2FY2023 was RM220.4 million, an increase of 21.9% as compared to
RM180.8 million for Q2FY2022. The increase was due to the increase in sales of both tissue paper and personal care products.
The Group recorded a loss of RM5.2 million before tax for Q2FY2023, a decrease of 182% over a profit of RM6.4 million registered in Q2FY2022. Higher costs of raw materials, distribution, and operating utilities such as electricity and gas have negative impact to the margin. Besides, the Group also faced higher exchange losses on the weakening of Ringgit Malaysia against US Dollars.

My good friends , our exit TP is 2 years or RM1.50 whichever earlier.
we are value investors. we know what we buy ,
we know we must give time for the business that we are involved to grow .
we know successful investment has just 2 criteria to comply,
1. know what you buy .
2. stay with what you buy until you see the success or convincingly proven wrong by facts and data , not comparison.
we should know not every one here share the same good lucks or good karma .

Yesterday, the day after the GE, FF and local institution were selling ... retailers was sole buyer.

After retailers were played over and over (extension after extension and terms revised) .... now retailers not dare to enter (after sold at not much gain /loss) ...... ;-(

B2. Material change in profit before taxation for the quarter against the immediate preceding quarter
The Group reported a loss before tax of RM3.56 million for the current quarter compared to a profit before tax of RM3.46 million for the immediate preceding quarter ended 30 June 2022, a change from profit to loss before tax by RM7.02 million or 202.89%. The particleboard sector experienced a general slowdown in the market resulting in lower sales and production volumes for the reporting quarter. The RTA sector also experienced a general slowdown, and a significant cost increase due to the implementation of minimum wage in May 2022.

Of the options discussed, the parties had sought to opt for the possible issuance of Irredeemable Convertible Preference Shares (“ICPS”) in DNeX Semi amounting to RM100 million to be issued to and subscribed by MIMAS (“Proposed Investment”). The Proposed Investment forms the subscription exercise that was the subject of the Subscription Agreement dated 21 January 2022 entered between DNeX Semi, MIMAS and DNeX (“SSA”) by which MIMAS would become a 33.33% shareholder of DNeX Semi in return for a payment of RM100 million. The rights of the DNeX Semi and MIMAS as shareholders was to be regulated by the Shareholders Agreement dated 21 January 2022 entered between DNeX Semi, MIMAS and DNeX (“SHA”).

The SSA and SHA were not publicly revealed, hoewever, DNex could be at the better stand, after all, the Notice of Arbitration was issued and served by DNex to MIMAS, not the other way round ..... my personal opinion is, DNex performs responsible manner to the dispute by seeking clarification on the Asian International Arbitration Centre Arbitration Rules ..... GCP /MIMAS is still their 40% partner, DNex wants to settle the dispute in good manner ......

Revised issue price from 0.14 to 0.22 is no doubt, put SYF shares in higher value .... issue less shares for M&A securities acquisition, directors and employees of SYF, M & A Securities eligible for the restricted issue have to pay a higher price .....

This good thing could be not benefit the retailers, they might have sold their holding at around 0.30 after holding almost one year or more, at not much gain .... if they re-enter now, they would facing new opportunity and risk ..... :-)
