Just let people believe what they want. If they hit the wall by blindly following other people, they will learn then. If they don't hit the wall, good on them and their family.
People learn on mistakes. Great people learn on other people's mistakes.
Have a nice weekend people! :)

His next article will sound something like this,
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In light to some people who felt like I can contribute more towards their investment journey based on my last article, I have decided to ignore the haters and focus on those who can benefit from my guidance. They would need guidance from a Super Investor like myself.
Bla bla bla. Brag brag brag. Please buy X-counter because it is undervalued. Bla bla bla. I do charity charity charity. Curse the haters. Bla bla bla
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am not blaming Koon for doing this. He gets money from it and it is good on him. Those who just follows without much research is the one to be blamed. Koon has a system and we must respect him in that regards.
2016-07-22 11:06 | Report Abuse
Nice article to 'sugarcoat' your real article Koon. Your real article is just this:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As you know, I have stopped posting any more articles on share investment to avoid misunderstanding. The problem is that I can recommend readers to buy shares such as Latitude which went up from Rm 1.00 to above Rm 8.00 within 24 months. Another share is VS Industry which went up 550% within 18 months. But I cannot tell you when to sell if I am selling. You can be sure that with my background I do not need to tell people to buy if I am selling.
My advice to all my critics is that they must really examine their track record. I think many who often make senseless remarks and not willing to learn, are not as successful as they want people to think.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The point of this article is he wants to get the ball rolling again and start recommending shares again. Well I guess he had enough time to accumulate any shares to a certain extent. Now just need another part of his system to work.

I agree with Icon8888, I encourage people to start investing early because it is good for them. I learnt investing on my own as well. I read about investments since I was 16 years old but none of my friends are interested. Luckily there are investors forum. :D
ks55, you are not wrong too. But if the author is able to do like what I did previously or even better, he would be well off. My parents don't even know I invested in the market until I am 24 years old. I'm sure he have a plan so that his investing does not at the expense of his parents.
What I'm trying to say is that it is up to the people on how they invest. Hopefully these young investors do well and have a plan. Have contingencies as well in case bad thing happens.
2016-07-21 17:02 | Report Abuse
I agree with the author to a certain extent. I started investing at 18 years old as well with MYR800 capital. Until now I'm still not that good but I like to invest so that I can become a better investor in the future.
With that being said, when I was at his age I do not put my eggs in one basket because I understand that I can lose all just in a blink of an eye. True enough, I have lost 10K once due to a stupid speculation (I was 23 at that time) and learnt from that bitter experience. My 5year gain wiped in just 1month. Luckily I have saved some portion for me to complete my study.
Graduated, I saved up & topped up my capital to recoup my losses. Now I developed a system so that I would not be making such mistake in the future.
In conclusion, this author is smarter than myself previously and I wish him the best. I hope that he did not repeat my pitfall and develop a system that he can follow.

It is okay for it to hit a new low. This is the time for long term investor to capitalise on the share's weakness. For short term investors, you might want to be looking out for other stocks with good momentum.
After TopGlov selling is done, the share price is likely to stagnate for a while.

@angsp, my advise to you is to have a cut loss plan before you buy into any warrants. I hope somebody with knowledge of AAX-WA would be able to help you.

@SJSOON is right. But not entirely. Speculators will speculate in stocks too. Not everyone is comfortable to speculate currency.
I don't like speculation being a long-term investor. But I can understand people speculate.

Why Franklin is selling? Easy. Fund will normally sell to get back their capital before any major decision that can determine market movement. They are waiting for the Brexit news.

@projecti2016, you just proved my point just now. :) It just means that you have better risk tolerance than me. This is what goInvest should learn.
I did not hold any TopGlove at the moment.
2016-06-17 11:54 | Report Abuse
@goInvest, what can I say is that you put a standard cut-off threshold across the board based on your risk tolerance/appetite. No point to ask people whether you should cut first because they might have more/less risk tolerance than you.
For example, I put generally 20% as my cut-off threshold to cut-loss.
Hope that helps.

Thanks for the reply OTB. Very commendable to have a dialogue for this. I understand if you are motivated and afraid to lose your common clients as they are reliable passive cash flow.
But being active in discussion like this is commendable whether you are right or not. I don't think you are right personally. But I must give you credit for this. Like I said, I'm critical. So credit is given when it is due.
2016-06-15 10:24 | Report Abuse
I forgot something.. Then again, OTB cannot cut out the 'herd' right? It is important for the system to work. Or else how would the VVIP and VIP clients able to sell high.
My bad.
2016-06-15 10:21 | Report Abuse
Wow. This is a good revelation indeed. At last we can know how the system works.
OTB, you know that I'm very critical in my statements. But I must say,
Your Investing and Stock Picking is top notch - I dare say one of the best, but
Your overall own business acumen & handling is shit tier.
If you don't know how to manage your VVIP, VIP, Common clients then don't. Just focus on your VVIP and VIP group only. If you want to focus on commoners, cut out the VVIP and VIP but we both know that the commissions you made from them is too much to let go therefore the best is to cut out the commoners.
Like I said, you have all these going as a business and I respect that. But it is still shit tier. Sorry. Maybe it is time to 'right-sizing' your business?

@SJSOON, yes I agree with you. I'm a long term investor as well. Of course I'm game with them giving dividends :) but I'm just thinking that this time around they might not give too much. But 0.07 is good enough for me.
2016-06-09 11:22 | Report Abuse
@SJSOON, you are likely to be right. However, I don't think they will be giving too much dividend as they would want to use their proceed for future projects.

Careful when the Noble Koon comes out and promote. Liihen is a good counter for a long term investor. But beware of buying at high. Koon is definitely looking to sell now that he is out promoting. It is his usual MO. He is not wrong. It is the blind followers fault for not having an exit plan. This is how he makes money. Good for him. :p
I'm holding Liihen as well though I have already sold partially. But I buy way before it shoots out and therefore I have a little moat helping me. I go long for this counter. And I have my exit plan already just in case I cannot weather out the impact of Koon selling later.
For those thinking of buying, have a plan.

Been holding Gadang for quite some time now. I'm just afraid that this will only be a one day show.
This dannytansionkee lost so much in the market, it turns him into this. I need to learn not to be like this. Will diversify my holdings more. Luckily I don't follow people blindly.

It has been some time since I last came to I3, this Koon is still rampant? LOL
What a shock! Stockmanmy does not defend Koon anymore? Unbelievable! Is this the same person who defended Koon when I criticise him early in the year? Haha
I have huge respect to KC Chong, Stockraider, Icon8888, Tan KW etc for their willingness to share their investment wisdom. To call them stupid when they have contributed so much to the forum is a funny irony indeed Koon.
But I do hope that Koon change from the dark side to the light.. One day.. :)
