Dufu and all other export oriented companies started to run after the Ringgit fell sharply in Aug 2015. Right now the ringgit is gaining sharply against all other currencies, can expect the bright forecasts to end soon. Still profitable for sure, but not so hot.

Traders and investors are advised to read about "death spiral financing". One would think such a seasoned investor as KYY would know about this danger.

Then we can compare when the stocks day in the sun comes.

Calvin is Koon's shoe licker.

He dutifully reposts Koon's blog in i3 since the old egotist can't do it himself without losing big face.

Has he strongly criticised KYY?

He attacks all other regular bloggers at every opportunity.

Here's a saying that's not in the bible.

Big mouth Calvin shouts his message everyday. Even a casual reader like myself can't help but notice his buy calls for Iskandar properties, DRB, MRCB etc. And of course his sell call for Airasia.

He keeps pummelling my mind, I don't want to listen, but he shouts so loud and so often and so confidently. Sell NOW, he says, I am a fool if I don't do it. OK, I will believe him, and sell all my Airasia.

But what happens when his call is wrong.

There will be a single small comment somewhere in another thread, saying maybe he mistook the news or data. No apology, no redress. I am then the fool who believed him. No one forced me to follow him, he will say.

To you Calvin, just say something ONCE, then shut up already.

Solar prices have dived.
It now costs less per kwh to produce than what TNB is getting paid to run Jimmah (RM0.0267/kwh). Latest proposal is for USD 3cents or RM0.012/kwh for solar in Dubai. This is due to glut from China.

Investing or trading, remember: The trend is your friend. If you stick with your conviction then you have much to forgo.
Noriel Roubini, who became famous just because he predicted the 2007 fall, was still convinced there would be a 2nd dip in 2009. The market has increased 112% since that call.

Wikipedia - Gold Dore: A doré bar is a semi-pure alloy of gold and silver, usually created at the site of a mine. It is then transported to a refinery for further purification. The proportions of silver and gold can vary widely.

See their monthly production reports. Gold dore produced is about 100 oz +/- 30 oz per month. Yet, inventory (LDMA Gold 999.9) can fluctuate about 1000 oz. How you do that?

It is basic law of contract. There is no contract without consideration. Hence, if there is no contract, no one is compelled to follow his recommendations.

You may however, look at the law of torts. From Wikipedia: A tort, in common law jurisdictions, is a civil wrong that unfairly causes someone else to suffer loss or harm resulting in legal liability for the person who commits the tortious act

However, in this case, it is the plaintiff that has to provide proof of wrongdoing. And we know in this court of anonymous forummers, not a single word can be trusted as fact.

My understanding is simplistic.
Margin = Leverage. Leverage = win more, also lose more. No need argue which is best. Margin is a financial tool, risky but if you are skilled, go ahead. I must declare I am not a user of margin financing.

KC should chill out when trolled. Perhaps you may not understand what is a troll.
"In Internet slang, a troll (/ˈtroʊl/, /ˈtrɒl/) is a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people, by posting inflammatory,[1] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a newsgroup, forum, chat room, or blog) with the deliberate intent of provoking readers into an emotional response[2] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion,[3] often for their own amusement."

These are trolls, and the worst thing to do is to react to their taunts.

Keep doing what you do because of the good it does to yourself, and no harm is intended for readers. Screw all other reasons.

On the other hand, stop what you are doing if it is intentionally misleading and detrimental to people around you. Go screw yourself in that case.
