i think AA should start to implement FOREX surcharge to replace the fuel surcharge in the airfare.

When buy put warrant, I look for :-
1) one with not so high premium, HV has one of the highest premium, may its due to its longer expiry date, you can find some with lesser premium
2) reasonable expiry
3) liquidity

To be rational, AA biggest challenge is not the accounting issue...but the weakening of RM against USD, that's why TF is angry ...and lashed out on this matter

At this level of RM4+ against USD, AA could slide lower to below RM1 given its sizeable USD debt, with revenue generated mostly in RM...worse still they now cannot chrarge fuel surcharge given the low price of oil.

May be they can recover if they start to implement " USD debt surcharge" in the airfare

Oil majors like Petronas has cut their rigging activities by 80%, no more long term contract from them, only short term need basis contract...downstream players will be hit badly , at least till 2017 before any reversal

1)EPF has huge arsenal/ bullets compared to you and me, if the first round they go in high and make mistake, they got enough bullets to average down many rounds later...can you and me match them ??

2)They dun only have one counter, they have many investment in their portfolio, if one counter lose money, other investment may make money and overall emerge positive

3) Best of all, its your money they are investing, if make mistake, the most that fund manager lose his job..but its your money that is burnt

Looked bro epfbuy,,,Wellington and etc not only hold AA shares in their portfolio,,they have other holdings elsewhere...and program selling at a loss for one counter is not new to them...they do it all the time...they can exit at a loss for one counter but made gains in other holdings.

The price will stabilise after foreign funds exit...you know they are exiting given the negative sentiment about Malaysia and the trend of RM/USD weakening which showed they are running.

Ive been going thru this thread and really amazed by the counters recommended...almost all of them hv a fantastic run up. One counter that quite amazed me is OCK

When compared to another counter that's doing almost the same bizness Instacom, the PE is so much different OCK=27 and Instacom=6.5. Just really puzzled me ?? They basically in the same industry doing the same bizness serving the same customers i.e. all the major telcos, but how come such a huge difference in PEs

I dunno whether OCK is being speculated beyond its fundamentals, or is it that they hv strategic investor LTAT which makes the difference ?

Anyway, it does not matter what i think, at the end of the day, it is the rising price that makes investor happy, i guessed.
