I am not a fanboy of KYY but you need to view his recommendation or approach with a practical perspective

KYY. like all investor, has the objective to maximise his return on investment.

If he were to publicise his entry before he buys, then he would have bought at a higher price and likewise announce his intention to exit before he sells, then he could potentially sell at a lower price - which will be contrary to the objective of maximising return . In that case you might as well ask him to bank in money directly to your bank account. In fact no investment guru or advisor would tell you which stock they will buy / sell before they actually do it

Anyway, just appreciate his methodology of selecting stock and view his recommendation with a realistic and practical mind. Didn't he always end with "buy at your own risk", and sometimes even declared upfront that he has some substantial stake so that you can make your own judgement.

Again I have to admit, I made some and lose some from his recommendations, but out of all this, learn a hell lot on investment and stock selection.

3Qs EPS is 39.29 actual, annualised is 52.4 ignoring high possibility of stronger 4th Q result

EPS of 52.4 n applying lowest industry peer P.E of say 10, very conservative for this industry...the price of CANONE should be RM5.24....minimum potential upside of RM1.00 based on today's closing of RM4,2

The above is skeletal bare minimum approach...ignoring the stake it holds in KJ, which has been increasing in value

let's be honest, KYY is not going to tell you which shares he intends to go in before he goes in, by doing so he will be competing to buy at a higher price, rather than do a stealth accumulation. in fact nobody in this world, no matter how kind or generous would do that. Name me one.

Likewise, nobody would tell you he's going to sell before he did, otherwise, he be selling at a lower price.

He is just a businessman or normal investor doing the right thing in investment. Don't expect him to do something that is contrary to maximising profit in investment - which is why people invest..to maximise their return on investment

BUT. he is kind enough to TEACH and share with you the right investment mindset which has worked for him, let you know which counter is a good company of which he is a shareholder...and MOST OF ALL, contribute the gains in his investment for charity. Not many do that.

He will give you a fishing rod and teach you to fish, BUT not fish and feed you direct to your mouth lah. ..might as well ask him to directly bank in money to your account.

called my broker to follow up on the info he shared...he said the dealer on the 10th floor finished disposing the block for the contra operator..and he is talking to his fellow dealer ( elite group) on going to audi showroom this weekend to look at TT. If the bugger gets a TT for his commission, imagine the operator's profit....the rich gets richer...tough world

I guess that is not force selling...more like a planned selling before the force selling time...just imagine such a huge block...cannot afford to wait till last minute to force sell.

MRCB is manipulated by the biggest syndicate in the country...and it is a big play...mega-size play and to move something this big..it will take time ...example when up...will be up for sometime...not one two day affair...same goes when down / correction...it will continue for quite a while

My broker just called me say she overheard neighbour dealer preparing to dispose one big block from big time contra operator before 12.30 today...standby for big tremor if this block is not well absorbed....

Canone ( the company) owns a major stake in KJ, a jewel worth more than 3.30

But the owner controlling holder of Canone is partnering with EPF to buy KJ for 3.30, take private, and how you view this like not stealing

if a company own an asset worth more than 3.30, but it is selling the asset privately to some shareholder of the company for less than 3.30 , is this not like stealing ??

The reason :-

No small time investment guru like KYY ( small time compared to EPF, or Toyota funds) dare to touch this counter because the major shareholders are tying to screw each other, and i am sure KYY is smart enough to NOT get caught in the CROSS FIRE

Yes got value, got NTA, but management is not paying enuf dividend, always trying to screw the minority holders, hence share price doesn't reflect the value because of management integrity...imagine invest in a house of gold guarded by thieves

Anything above 3.50 is going for slaughtering...

Look at how they try to fcuk all minority holders then you know despite company with good earnings and NTA, why the share price is low....that's the reason...management integrity and not trying to maximise value for minority holders and only think of ways to extract maximum value for themselves..thats why many stay away...it is basically a house of gold managed and guarded by a gang of thieves, who incidentally is also fighting among themselves.

Got value so what...if the price dun move n reflect the value...This is whah they call "Value Trap"...many counters in Bursa has high NTA, but price not relfect.

The group operator that plays this stock...so far their pattern is like one or two sessions big jump...then slowly decrease to previous low over many months (go see the chart fr yourself, repeated like this few cycles already)....if you go in during the big jump, then you have to wait for many months before it hit another high...hahaha

Quickly jump off...so that more space for others to hop on

Yes, in the interim the local can do show to blind you for the time being...but ultimately the stock market has to be supported by the country's economic fundamental.

Next year, the economy is going to be worse than this year for sure. The only / earliest chance of recovery to start in 2nd half of 2017.

Do you think the economic fundamentals and the index can DECOUPLE for 1 year plus ?? They say the index will lead by 6 months...so start accumulate end of 2016 ??
